The shoulder pads are also really pronounced, even after alterations. I guess that's the style these few seasons. The jackets in the fall/winter season seem to have very pronounced shoulder pads too.

Thank you for the info. The SA did mention it being long fiber and may get caught easily. I must try it on again and take a closer look at the shoulder as well.

I think this is a cardigan. I tried a similar cut in a navy grey and ecru knit. It's lovely. It's structured to be almost like a jacket. The one I tried was $4300. I didn't buy it because I was at my limit for now. I picked up the black and navy belted jacket from act I and a few other things.

The black and navy jacket is gorgeous. I can see it working really well with your wardrobe.

Hi! I have the jacket and LOVE it, posted modeling pics on Chanel jacket thread. There's many other modeling pics of other tpf members wearing that jacket on the thread too. As of last week there was still 2 left at my store in larger sizes. My SA was positive it wouldn't make it to sale but who knows, it could be because he was trying to get me to buy it. But he did say in his 8 years working there he's only seen 2 black tweed jackets ever make it to sale. Good luck on deciding!
