Can I ask tweed experts a question? I own the gorgeous pants from Karl's last collection. I really love, love, love them. However, the tweed is loosely knit, so when I walk with the long and wide pants, my shoes often catch the fabric and pull the vertical thread.

I would LOVE to find a way to enjoy my pants without pulling the thread each time when I wear them. Do you have any advice? Can I somehow sew the vertical thread susceptible for pulling (along the inside seam only) with other threads so they stay in place?

Thank you so much for your advice.

Ask the tailor if she can sew a grograin ribbon hem along the inside edge, or if she has another idea? Love the pants

Does this happen with one particular pair of shoes or with several? Sounds like you can't wear anything with a buckle or decoration because they sound like the culprits.

These are with all shoes. The reason is that the pants have a lot of volume. When you walk, the fabric gets caught.
My other non-tweed pants don't have such issues because they are tightly knit.

That is unfortunate! I was thinking that if you wore a shoe that was smooth all around, it wouldn't be a problem. Or a boot. The only other thing I can think of is to spray the bottom of the pant with something that would prevent the threads from catching.

Tried on this cashmere cardigan today in green blue, so pretty! Had only seen this one in yellow before !

I love it! I bought the yellow version and actually returned it and bought this one instead. The green is so gorgeous! There is also a white version with a yellow trim, I took that one as well as I felt it’s more versatile than the full yellow. I like the yellow but it’s not the easiest to match.

Wow! Would love to see your in action pics wearing the cardigan !

Ironing on a small patch of fabric (on the inside) where your heel is susceptible to catching would probably do the trick.
