This collection is very tempting and dangerous for me! Every jacket fit perfectly! To make things worse they still have the Metier D’art coat.
I bought the pink jacket, the gray pants- so rare for Chanel to make pants from fine wool, and the cardigan.
The long jackets are beautiful on. The button issue is still bothering me.
The little black top was nice, so I got it.
This greige blazer is amazing on, very flattering shape. I couldn’t take a picture as I tried it when I was going out. I’m thinking about it, most probably will get it. The lesage jacket is nice too. I didn’t try the KS jacket..
All so stunning!

Ari, thank you as always for your "field" reports;)
I also tried on a few and here are my findings:
1. The "rock" long jackets (with nonfunctional buttons) all have no chains inside. I wonder what the rules are for the chains?
The black jacket with white stitches is heavier with wool whereas the white with black threads is of cotton tweed, for the most part. So the weight is different. The black also has collar. I will wait for my size to decide.
2. The black jacket with bottons on the lower half and hook and eye on the upper half is 100% synthetic in fabric and cotton + silk lining. Also no chain. I like the design, more flattering than I thought, but I feel that they are cutting corners with fabric?
3. The lesage jacket is niiiiice and I will likely get it. It is generous in size.
4. The silk crepe jacket with white trims is short...but not too cropped. The black jacket with fancy black trims is too cropped for me.
5. The lesage fabric with coco chanel written all over it is amazing. Too bad they didn't make a jacket in this fabric.

Oh, that’s great observation and review! I didn’t notice these things! As my husband says my heart rate increases when I enter Chanel and I don’t notice cold and forget my aching feet, hahaha! Too bad about missing chain! I think this slightly asymmetric buttons are also somewhat easier to make. I even asked one designer about it, and she confirmed that.
I was so overwhelmed that forgot to try the black crepe jacket with white trims. Not that I don’t like it, it’s just don’t want to buy it for some reason. Did you see the graige blazer?

And Ari you should get the metiers coat if you haven't...and Chanel should have you featured in their next campaign. You look amazing.
Thank you Brooklynite! Yes that coat is perfect. Still thinking about it. Problem is that here the fall and spring are becoming very short and I don’t have much time to wear light coats. This year even jacket weather was short, from cold winter it went to hot summer.
Love the looks on you Ari !!! The pink jacket is so awesome.
The long jacket doesn’t have a chain, I wonder why perhaps. Maybe it’s long enough they don’t feel it needs help hanging ? The KS jacket does have a chain.
Thank you pigleto!

This coat is gorgeous and fits you so well. You should definitely get it.
Congrats on your buys. As always, everything looks great on you :)

I had my cruise appointment today! The boutique only had about 30% of the collection in. I’m typically US size 8/Chanel 42 for jackets.

Pink Jacket: I’m under 5’5 and the length wasn’t a problem. Gorgeous, but passed because I don’t think I’d be able to achieve good cost per wear. Very tempting tho.

Sofia Jacket: Beautiful, but runs small. The boutique only had a 38, but I needed a 44. Really nice LBJ option.

Collection Hoodie: I took this guy home. I love the lion and constellation details! Very comfy.

My metiers coat is back from alterations. My son called it "the queen jacket".
Thank you the kind lady who provided me with the details on this coat. You know who you are, and I will always think of you when I wear this coat:smile:
The coat is simply stunning and the fit amazing. I had not seen it and i think I prefer it to the jacket. Thank you for the photos!
