Thanks everyone! For such a pricey purchase I want to be confident in the size. In looking back at the pics the 36 does look "neater" to quote my SA earlier today.

@sheeby, when I was in the boutique earlier someone was trying on that black tweed and it looked fabulous. I'm sure it will be an excellent purchase. And I agree the darker color looks really good under the coral.

I will likely pass on this right now, but would consider it if it makes it to sale. I just happen to prefer the 21b jacket, and am eyeing another item...outerwear. I saw the duffel jacket in a small size and it's super special. I am waiting for one to arrive in my size. I love the iridescent in it, I didn't try it, but did include the stock photo below. My fingers are crossed that it's a good fit.

My SA had me try it because on the hanger it didn’t look very special and she wanted to see it on a person since it just arrived. The duffel jacket is so cute on! I didn’t take a pic because it was a little too big on me. The iridescence elevates it and the lining of the jacket and the hood (which is removeable) is a really cute black and white graphic logo print. The toggle buttons have tiny cc’s. I absolutely loved it!
Both jackets look great on you but I agree, between the two, the purple is more special. The tweed is beautiful and the buttons are pretty also. I thought they were sequined but my near vision is kind of wonky. If the salmon apricot coral makes it to sale I would buy it also because it lightweight and fits well.

Many thanks and it's helpful to hear your validation on the toggle jacket. I agree that iridescence makes it very special! Is it oversized in fit or TTS?

Im sorry but I’m not sure about the fit. My SA typically has me try everything she receives from new collections from size 34-40 and since I was considering a different jacket, I didn’t look at the size tag for this iridescent jacket as much as I liked it.

@sheeby my friend took pix of the tag and it was a 34. In jackets, 36 seem to fit me better but sometimes 34 works depending on the shoulders. I’d say the toggle jacket runs big because sizing down to 34 in it, I still would have room for a thick knit sweater under it and would be able to move my arms comfortably.

Isnt it interesting how we can fall hard for an unexpected peice - trying on Chanel really makes such a difference- I end up loving something completely not what I thought I would
Congrats on a really dynamic jackets the black and purple looks special.
Agree on the salmon - it’s really nice but on sale- (if it makes it)it’s even nicer ;)

Thank you @TankerToad! Since I’m casual, @ms piggy ’s action pic gave me the idea of a long Dior skirt with chanel. . .I think it’s true that our minds can suddenly change when we try something on. A lot of stuff I end up loving doesn’t have hanger appeal, and DH and SA had to persuade me to try them

the black, blue and pink cityscape pull over sweater is sold out in my size or at least my SA was surprised she couldn’t find it yesterday. I tried on the navy cashmere cardigan with pink piping from last season and it seemed somewhat flimsier than the pink one. I may be transitioning to H cashmere silk cardigans bc i need a bit more durability and the H ones relatively well priced

@sheeby, I love the black and purple on you and now I’m really interested in the iridescent toggle :biggrin: Your black top under the salmon jacket does givenchy it an edgier attitude and suddenly it looks like a classic neutral

You never know with chanel ! You have to try it then it just gets you like a bear trap haha. The duffel looks awesome. So glad to hear it is great. It was the one piece that caught my eye when I saw the look books initially :)
The black jacket looks great ! Good detail shots.
I did have a neimans sa in hybrid who knew someone in lease who could get me pieces :). However she left and went to Dior and now there’s a hole in my Chanel contacts! Wish I liked Dior more. Then again … lol.

Thanks southtampa. I could use a simple black dress :)
