I think Sofia looks great in the jacket! I'm happy she does because I also pre-ordered this one

What did people think of the actual HC show? I had mixed feelings about it - on the one hand, I wasn't a fan of the overall colour palette in most of the looks. The lingerie-look outfits in looks 27, 28 and 29 were also odd. On the other hand, the close-ups showed some really beautiful work by the Metier ateliers - some individual pieces were truly stunning. I also liked the venue.

I think the only pieces that I would actually wear is a slimmed-down version of this pink jacket and this white coat. The silhouette of the pink jacket reminds me of classic Balenciaga/Givenchy in Schiaparelli shocking pink... not Chanel.

Thank you so much for the pictures. I love Anna's look the most even though it's kind of "boring" traditional look. Proportion wise, it's chic. I think it's Look 55 of Fall/Winter I was debating on the shoulder, but in real life, it does not seem exaggerating.

Love the black/white set of Cruise, but in my humble opinion, it does not suit Sofia much. It makes her look shorter and does not compliment her or look tailored to her. Maybe only a tall slender figure with long arms and legs like the model can rock that set. Otherwise, seems serious tailoring is needed. Clearly a pass for me.

I might be too old, but these 1995 styles look more stunning to me.

agree w/ you...i think the skirt is too long on her and waist line too low - some alterations would do the trick. She probably didn't have time to tailor the pieces to suit her frame better.

yup - though Balenciaga tended to use slender shoulders to balance out. the pink piece shown here has both wide shoulders and puffy sleeves...too much volume IMHO. But these can easily be tailored. Not that I can afford couture lol

I agree, the low-waisted skirt on a petite frame is very Victoria Beckham (though in her case often pants). It throws off the proportions of the body and does no favors for the person or the clothing.
