ari, thank you for giving us the pricing on the upcoming fall pieces. The prices are high, I suspected they would be up there but wow.
We will have to pick and choose even more carefully now. So far the only thing I have asked to be ordered for me is the gray cardigan w/pink trim. I will just wait and see what comes into my store. I was hoping to try the jumpsuit in look 9 (something different for me) but I won't ask my SA to bring it in just for a casual try on. Even before we get to this collection, we will be recovering from sticker shock on Metiers....

Snowball, same here! I have been sending pictures to my SA and she has access to my wishlist through the phone app, but I have not made any official reservations yet. Many jackets from the past few seasons fit weirdly so I don’t want to make hasty decisions purely based on “oh it looks pretty on the runway!”. I mean, the team spent hours adjusting those clothes before the show so of course they look good! Good thing is that my SA completely understands my concerns. My wallet and my closet space do have limits!

I get so many split thoughts about this jacket, I have never liked dropped shoulders but somehow it still looks very stylish when styled in the right way ... I have actually looked for the belt that your SA wears, is the photo taken recently?

SouthTampa, I am not certain of the exact price but I think it is hovering close to the 5k range, maybe slightly under.

So my SA was able to get me the regular length pink cardigan with the tromp l'oeil navy trim. It should arrive tomorrow. I love it and know there are lots of people who want it if I decide to return it. My question is this: I am not a person who usually buys RTW at full retail. I've acquired my jackets and sweaters in excellent condition from consignment, TRR etc. Considering how much Chanel is increasing in $, is this a good piece at regular price? I wear black, camel, navy, cream, gray, blush and pink 95% of the time and 98% with denim.

pink navy cardi is high at 4250 but I think the cashmere is slightly thicker ? The trim is knitted and I think is one reason it’s higher. If you can wear lots w your wardrobe it will be worth it I’m still vacillating but it hasn’t arrived yet.

@tensgrl, I agree with @pigleto972001 that it’s more how much you love something and how much cost per wear calculation. I don’t think it should matter as much how quickly chanel is increasing in price (though prices are also increasing at TRR too. if it’s a piece that you will wear to death and adore, then go for it!
