If they were thin leggings I'd let it slide cos I have a pair of Celine leggings I love to pieces that I paid 600 for. I love the concept of wearing white gloves to put on stockings.

I'm just going to pull out my hunter boots and practice sticking my feet in them haha ! He said the top is wide. I don't know. I'm just imagining trying to put them on, glitter goes flying, etc etc.

What a great purchase! Love navy & black, which is a good alternative to all black. The detailed pleats behind are special, cute and elegant. For a casual vibe, I can see this over distressed boyfriend jeans and over a maxi dress with sneakers.

The epaulettes were a feature of the Airlines collection and the pleated back was a feature of the pink Airlines jacket. Perhaps this was from the Airlines collection?

ok that's absurd... I was ahead of Karl on this one... I bought these sparkly stockings I think 2 years ago at I think $12.99 each. They look a bit intense in the package but really not that blingy when you wear it once it stretches out on your legs and the studs/crystals were scattered out pretty well (actually I think I stocked up a few pairs :p ) and also bought some more subtle mini/tiny sparkle ones (think got 5 pairs of these) for $5 each. I do love some bling on the legs but $725?!?!?!??! :rolleyes:

I think we were all ahead of Karl on this one, since AGE 2 :)
It looks fun and gorgeous on the runway, but let's be real, we all wore this style as children also.
Never say never though, I would kill for a simple silky jacket with embroidery on the shoulders like I had when I was 3 years old, so maybe some good things do come from childhood fashion.

I bought the silver ankle boots last Friday - they had just come out - but am thinking will exchange for the more simple black quilted ankle boot. I just can't figure out where I will get enough wear from the silver boots, even though they are amazing?!

Haha maybe that's why I love blingy things so much! :lol: Mom never got me anything sparkly like that when I was a little girl and I have no problem with colors and bling now as an adult. Must be trying to make up for lost time :p lemme look at those $725 tights again... nope... still no :no:

This is where I remind self that I am no JLo or Mariah and Karl didn't make this one for me :p where is that money tree....

Somehow in my head I thought those were like $375? I really liked those too and then I saw a chanel boutique SA wearing what appears to be one and she told me it's from Target.., off I went and found the last pair in my size at $14. Can't locate more after a national Target stock search (I'm serious). And then I also bought a pair of similar Pierre Mantoux vanity tights - they made me happy :smile:.
Btw Pierre mantoux made something called the two stars tights but it was claimed that only 6 pies were made originally and they then re-release another 6 pairs. They were under $400 and had the studs/crystals on them. :p
I feel like I put holes in stockings almost every time I wear them as I am very clumsy, so I only wear them winter anyways. The cost per wear (likely 1 or 2 for me) would be insane!

Also check out these elaborate stockings from this woman on etsy all handmade and at around $300-400 a pair. I would say that if I was aware of these when I was planning my wedding, I'd be so walking down the aisle with these flowery ones under my wedding gown :p
