I was actually wondering if Brexit will affect cashmere prices since so much comes out of Scotland (including Chanel). [emoji848]
So far, I received my black coat and the dresses in navy and black long sleeves. You guys have seen them all already. But for reference I'm 5'6" and wear a size 40. They are true to size. The coat is roomy enough to wear a heavy sweater under it without looking bulky. I need the sleeves shortened. The fabric is the same as my Paris Rome black dress.
I debated whether I should keep both knit dresses. They are really perfect on their own, with any jacket or with a shawl, belted or unbelted..I'm keeping both.
Everything has a distinct 70s feel. While trying them on I hear the BeeGees in my head, which I realize for many people including my DH would not be a good thing, but for me it's absolutely the happiest feeling I can imagine. I will wear my Hermes printemps ete 69-70 scarves often with these pieces.
Saturday I should have the rest of my pieces including the VP coat which arrived at the store today. There is a good lesson for all of us in this. I was really bummed that nothing from the cosmopolite collection was perfect for me. I did fall in love with one piece, but the rest didn't work for me. I'm glad I didn't force it. I would have blown my budgeton things I didn't love and I would be sad now. I'm breaking my one outfit per season rule this season because the pieces are so perfect for meI'm glad I waited it out.

No, I just looked goofy; the proportions were off somehow on me. I think it is very 70s looking, in an extremely chic Lauren Hutton kind of way, and that's not my look - I do better with the more '60s silhouette. I would love to own the Sofia suit.

The tweed in the first jacket looks to be the same as a tweed used in the data center collection! That was the jacket that just missed sale by like 2 days [emoji20] I believe Genie27 has it! Alas, I like the design of the data center jacket more than this one.
I also really like the second jacket! Are there more pictures of it anywhere?
Also this was in the Americana Manhasset catalog I received today. Please excuse the glare - the pages were very glossy! I think this is the same jumpsuit posted above, paired with pigleto's boots!

Thank you for posting the pics ! I am excited about the ground control but not sure I will get much from it either. It seems expensive. I love the wool cream pants but they're so light colored I'd prob have a heart attack wearing them at work LOL. I'll have some better idea of pricing once I zoom into those pics. Ha ha !!!

I can try to read the prices tomorrow. Interesting about the black jacket without the pearls. That might be interesting. I am not sure how I feel about the trim at the shoulders of some of the jackets and the way it curves it. It might make my shoulders look narrow and the rest if me look wide. [emoji28]
The reglan sleeves? I think it looks cool! Guess we will have to try them he he. Oh boyyyyy. The white and black one that's sequins is pretty. Love the cut of it. I think it would be too loud for me (haha says the girl who likes the glitter boots).
Yes, I don't do well with raglan sleeves. Wimpy shoulders. You have good shoulders I think. The black and white plaid is very pretty. I like the longer fitted shape but I went for the pleated cosmopolite plaid jacket so I think I'll stick with that. I think I need some shorter jackets now. But I'll have to wait for just the right ones.
The shorter boots are really cute.
