I just found the most amazing small store in Southampton, NY in the same side alley along Jobs Lane as the Kardashians pop up store. Its called Theshop. I'd never seen it before as it just opened this weekend. It has an extraordinary selection of stunning and unusual preloved Chanel and Hermes bags. They were in perfect condition and definitely real. I saw someone buy the most luscious peach colored mini while I was there - it was the one on the second from the bottom shelf in the picture. My iPhone photos do not do them justice. The colors are off - sorry.

The bag looked like it had never been used. There was dark navy patent classic jumbo - I'd never seen one before - and a small dark navy Timeless evening clutch with a pearl tassel I'd not seen either. Sooooo pretty. A gold python WOC and a gold lambskin (?) WOC - very soft leather, a black caviar jumbo, a white caviar medium, necklaces, bracelets, etc.

The pink jumbo is the most beautiful pale petal pink. The name hasn't even been painted on the door, but I got its number: 631-488-4466. If anyone is in the Hamptons, it is definitely worth going there.

I agree I was just there they have nice bags! Also The Perfect Purse also nearby in Southhampton has tons and tons of chanel (and hermes).

I'd recommend Only Authentics in New York City! Their Chanel & Hermes collection is the most amazing I have ever seen....stuff you can't even find in the store its so rare & exclusive!! The owner goes through extreme lengths to ensure that you are getting authentic pieces ( every bag is authenticated by The Leather surgeons, who worked for Chanel for over 20 years!!) and I've just always had the best experiences there! Trust me....I just purchased a new bag a week ago and I am itching to get another =)

I had a great experience with Theresa from Boutique Patina. She really went out of her way to answer all of my questions an even FaceTime'd with me so I could see the condition of the Chanel bag before I bought it. I highly recommend her as a reseller !

I second this!

After MUCH MUCH research I've just bought my first Chanel (a 2.55 jumbo single flap Caviar from 2009 with the gold plated hardware). Theresa went out of the way to answer all of my many many questions AND allowed me to negotiate a very reasonable price including shipping to the UK.

The bag purchase also came with a free authentication via Etincellor (I believe Patina offer this on all their Chanel purchases) which is added piece of mind.

The parcel arrived in 4 days!! Her communication and service was literally second to none and the bag is so beautiful it takes my breath away!!

They have an ebay store and a website:

I have finally made my first purchased from Boutique Patina (via Luxury Malleries).
Even though i was sure the bag was authentic (as i have been following B Patina and a few sellers on Luxury Malleries since 2010), i decided to get it authenticated by TPF but, alas, they no longer provide post authentication services.
Thanks, Roku, babydoll and Becked, i am now more convinced that i am 110% right about Boutique Patina.
Theresa has been a prompt in her replies and the bag (and its condition) i had received within 4 days was exactly as the what were shown on the pictures.

I recommend a handful of resellers, but among them, I agree, I think Boutique Patina and Ann'sFabFinds are my top best.

Sorry we couldn't help you on the ATC thread with an authentication; we try not to do that post-purchase as the spirit is to help decision-makers before their purchasing. However, we defer to two services, EtincelerAuthentications and Authenticate4U.
I believe however that Patina pays for Etinceler, as long as you are a paying customer, so either way hopefully you'll get a free authentication from an expert authenticator!

Thanks for your response, Roku. No prob. I can fully understand.

Yes, Etinceler has confirmed the authenticity of the bag, paid for by Boutique Patina.
Thumbs up for Boutique Patina and Therasa for her excellent service and professionalism.
Thanks for your recommendations.

best rgds,

I highly recommend Couture USA in Tampa, Florida, www.coutureusa.com. I have consigned and purchased with them for several years now and have always had a good experience. They have a great online selection and a beautiful brick-and-mortar boutique, too. Definitely worthwhile stopping by if you're ever in the Tampa Bay area.

I recommend Shop Hers and Tradesy

There are somehow not a lot of discussion here but there are threads in Shopping forum and that was how I started with them

Shop Hers offers 15% off for first purchase

Tradesy sometimes offers 10% off and I just realized sale is on for Chanel and Hermes

But I'd recommend do your homework first before going to any consignment websites as some are overpriced!
