I have become a big fan of the reissue! I recently bought a preloved 227 with RHW. However, I may need to get the hardware replaced / refinished. Does anyone know the approximate cost of replacing the hardware? (clasp seems loose and the hardware on flap is peeling) Do you think I should keep and fix or return the bag?

Hi! For those that have both the 225 and 226 size, which do you tend to use more? I have 2 in the 225 size and it fits my essentials but been debating for awhile on whether or not I should get the 226 size.

I recently got my new-to-me black 226 in RHW. I noticed that the interior of the back pocket is burgundy. Shouldn't it have black interior though... let me know ladies if you have the same bag!
Some are burgundy and some are black. Mine is burgundy.

I was interested in purchasing a Chanel classic Flap back. The medium size in black grained calfskin. I've never considered a Reissue but I'm intrigued - why do some go for Reissue vs Classic Flap? What's the leather like? How versatile are they? What's the size of Reissue that's similar in size to the medium in the CF?
Look forward to hearing your thoughts and opinions??

Hi!
I just bought a so black reissue a few days ago. I chose the reissue because it is more under the radar compared to the classic flap. The lock is more subtle and doesn't show big CC's. This is the main reason I chose it.
As for sizes, there is :
- extra-small (224) similar to small CF (super rare)
- small (225) similar but smaller than M/L CF
- medium (226) similar to jumbo CF but smaller
- large (227) similar to maxi CF but smaller
I bought the small reissue because I am rather petite but the medium could do as well. As for their size numbers (225, 226, 227) they are not used by SA's. You should rather use small, medium, large.
Edit: oh and the crumpled calfskin looks like lambskin but is more durable
