Wondering if it is normal for the base of the reissue bag to bow? One SA told me they were shipped and stored that way. Another told me it happens over time depending on how much you put in bag.

Any feedback for those of you who own them would be helpful.

Both SAs are right, but I've no problem in reshaping my reissues with proper storage.

They are shipped folded and are meant to be able to fold. If you want the base to flatten out, I suggest putting a few heavier items in the bottom (not too heavy) and store it stranding up and it should flatten out. Mine is completely flat on the bottom and I store it upright when not in use. I have never felt the need to fold it.

I purchased this 17P Chanel Reissue Chevron 225 size SMALL from Harrods London on 18/7/2018. A few questions here.
1) Interior is not burgandy color. Wonder why？2) no black felts were given at all though requested and they replied no longer given out felts.
3) 17P is old collection but why still selling at Harrods London?
4) series no starts with 238xxx also quite old no?
5) what skin is 17P? Read review is sheep skin or distressed lamb skin? Is it durable? How to take care?

Mine was purchased in June and doesn’t have red interior. Stores can keep stock from up to 2 years, so yes that is normal. Recently bought a flap from 2016. Serial number implies yours is from 2017 as you mentioned. Why would this bother you? Only thing one might be upset about is them asking for the current price. I asked for paying the old price attached to the bag and they were fine with that. I got felts but that is not always the case.

Why would it be lower? Because it is one year older? Don‘t think this affects its value Rather take good care of the bag if you ever decide to sell. She is a beauty.

Yes very versatile bag can dress up or casual, understated and I love it. The skin doesn't look like distressed at all. Have to really take care

Your reissue isn’t distressed/aged calfskin- it looks like sheepskin. The sheepskin one from 2017 has inverted chevron pattern on the bottom flap.

Sheepskin is said to be more durable than lambskin. I don’t own any sheepskin bags, so can’t comment specifically to how to care for it, but I condition most of my Chanel bags (except for iridescent lambskin) with Cadillac conditioner every few months.

I have never seen a pink lining before. Was puzzled a bit. Usually is burgandy or black lining. Indeed pink lining with chevron pattern Reissue make the bag look 'younger'
