Hello! I was hoping you fellow Reissue lovers might be able to help me with something. I'm looking at a preloved Reissue 226, and there's a photo of the chain with a funny link - is this the way it's supposed to be or is the correct link missing? I wasn't sure if it was the end of the chain or not and completely normal?

I was also wondering how the Reissue holds up over time? Some bags on the preloved sites show a lot of creasing in the back underneath the back pocket - is this normal wear and tear? Does it affect the structure of the bag. Do you think this one looks ok?

That link definitely does not look normal. Looks to me like it was broke and that's what they used to fix it.

Hello girls ^^ I’m a newbie on Chanel bags. I have just purchased the black WOC in sgw, and I love it! But somehow I’m now looking for a more roomy bag :) and I came to the reissue 224. My question: do you know what is the weight of a reissue bag 224 (double flap)? Is it heavy and is the silver strap heavy? Thanks for answering me ^^

Hi! Thank you for your response ^^ I managed to buy a reissue 224 on VC, let's see how that weights ;)

Thanks for your reply Vonnie1! I've decided to pass on the bag for now - the chain wasn't mentioned as being broken/fixed, the seller's description just says to refer to the photos for everything, so it's really hard to tell the condition of the bag and any issues since I'm not the most familiar with Chanel or Reissues in general. Hope I'll be able to find something else and join the club in the future!

YAY!! The bag has passed the control of VC! And is coming my way now :nuts: I can't wait to see the bag in real life :heart:

hi ladies! Joining the club, I never posted in here yet,,always just browsing for long time, I duno even if this is a reply or a new post lol,,
well the story is that I got 226 with rhw coulpe of
month ago. I just fell in love with Reissue!!!!
then I wanted 224 for a while, but I can not find it or wait NO more,, so I gave up 224 and got this 225 again recently.

I love vintage silver or bhw a lot always! but it seemed little crazy to have same color same hw with just different sizes.
so i got gold hw for 225 this time. first time having gold hardware,,looks beautiful but feel like a little too dressy maybe,, for my life style,

should I keep them like this or change to rhw for my 225? still deciding ,,,,what do you think of them?
