Hi ladies! I’ve been looking at the preloved market for a 226 in Black with RHW and have seen one in a reasonable price but....it’s a metallic black calfskin. Any thoughts on what it looks like in real life? I do not have any black handbags in my closet other than a big Tory tote workhorse since I’ve been culling my Chanel collection. Thoughts?

Where did you all find your reissues? I’ve been searching for one and no luck (in NYC). Classic black reissue 226 aged calfskin with RHW. I wouldn’t mind having it shipped from another state and prefer to get it from Saks to get some points

I have found the best luck getting the revolving classics (black with ghw or rhw) through the boutiques. If your local boutique doesn't have it, they can usually locate it for you. You can also call Chanel with the codes and they will look it up. With the department stores, get on a wait list or see if they can locate it in their system. Those waits can be longer as they don't get them as often-- 6 months to a year would not be unusual.
