CHANEL REISSUE

Hi everyone. I would like your advice and opinion on this color please. Is distressed leather in light colors durable? And does it get color transfer easily? (I often wear denim and dark pants).
It will be the only reissue I buy this year. I already have a chevron all black reissue in sheepskin so looking for a different color than black that could still be a neutral.
Thanks in advance for your valuable advice

It is a lovely bag and very nice color.

If ur not sure about the size ,think about it .
But it is a lovely piece.
Thank you for replying. I called the boutique and told them I’d like to come back and compare with a navy blue 226 they have to see the sizes.
Wondering if anyone here who owns a distressed calfskin in light color can share their experience with the wear and tear...

This is the 225. It was the last one in the store and the color is absolutely gorgeous.
But I really wanted the size 226 and I am not sure this will be a practical color, hence the hesitation.
I totally understand. As much as I love all the beautiful colors I always end up with black, if you are unsure of the size and color wait until you find the right one. Way too much money to not be 100%

Thank you for your advice. Indeed it is a lot of money and I am saving to get only 1 reissue this year and no other bag. So will carefully consider my decision. It this was in the size 226 I think I would have bought it as I’ve never seen this color before (on Chanel system the color is called grey but it is a pinkish, dusty rose tone of beige. Hard to describe).
Again ladies appreciate your input. I LOVE the reissue and all the bag on this group are a joy to look at :)

What are your thoughts on the 224 Reissues? I have been keeping an eye out for a red bag and have spotted a preloved 224 with RHW. Is it versatile in this size? Currently own the 226 with GHW and love the style of the reissue bags.

Where did you all find your reissues? I’ve been searching for one and no luck (in NYC). Classic black reissue 226 aged calfskin with RHW. I wouldn’t mind having it shipped from another state and prefer to get it from Saks to get some points :)

It is released seasonally, but usually in different colors and materials. this past year i saw one at Saks that was a glazed aged calfskin in cream with black hardware.

I’m looking for a distressed calf 224 and last time I was aware it was the Paris in Rome collection which is almost 2 years ago (there was probably another release that I was not aware last year) but hope it will show up soon!

I’m debating if I should get another mini or wait for 224......[emoji848]

Since the 226 is the most popular size, you might want to ask at Saks, if you leave your credit card number for preorder, if that would help with your place in queue. It cuts about a month or two off of a Nordstrom list. Nordstrom only receives about two Reissue classic bags per store a month (and they have no idea about hardware until they arrive). NM seems to get them in more often than Nordstrom, and most managers know what kind of hardware their getting.
I hope you find one soon!
