hi everyone! i'm thinking about getting the 224 to "complete" my reissue collection. could anyone give me a comparison between the 224 and the mini classic flap? are they pretty much the same in terms of space? tia!

hey Larkie - I dont have the mini, but I ve got the medium classic (which in US is the small, just to confuse things further...;)) I find that the 224 has slightly more capacity than my classic. Its smaller but not as structured, so can fit a fair amount. Typically I carry, travelcard, wallet, lipstick. mini brush, perfume and iphone. I took these photos just for you - do tell me if you need any more as I can try and get some better ones. I love the 224 - you will adore it! (my husband thinks I 'need' it in black too...:D)

yes because I may have talked you out of it!:laugh: Seriously though, the proportions of the 224 are beautiful. The SA at CHANEL commented on how good it looked on me. They are not on commission and do not do that all the time. Several times they stopped me on my tracks from buying something because it did not look 'right' on me. (too big, too bright, 'just not me')
I think the 224 would NOT look good on a large lady, or someone 'big boned'... As I ve seen lots of photos of you - I know you will love each other...:hbeat:

yippyyyy! :woohoo:another member for the little 224 club! This metallic is just amazing. simply love it and now waiting for the modelling shots! You do the best modelling shots so I am hoping to pick up some tips...:yes: please...
