Its smaller but not as structured, so can fit a fair amount. Typically I carry, travelcard, wallet, lipstick. mini brush, perfume and iphone. I took these photos just for you - do tell me if you need any more as I can try and get some better ones. I love the 224 - you will adore it! (my husband thinks I 'need' it in black too...:D)

well... ladies, I had to go to Paris for a couple of days and I got to visit Hermés. (and CHANEL of course but that's another story!) We had some tea upstairs at the boutique and they gave a SEAT to the 224. She was offered her own little stool but I so like it when the bambino gets appreciation.;)

UPDATE everyone -rare glimpses of the new reissue 224 in black caviar with ruthenium hardware, currently at Harrods. Also in metallic bronze, red, black and a new blue - which is different from my navy. It is more of an airforce blue. All the ones I saw had ruthenium hardware. If its destined for your collection, please share pictures!::cool:

Penney @ H still sells these 224 babies at $3700. Check out the authentic find thread. She has several color selections!

I found a 224 in black in Singapore this weekend! I originally saw the Lucky Charm 224 (in black) but then luckily I was shown this one. I love it! I haven't been able to bring myself to unbox it yet so pics will come later. Soo happy. My second Chanel/2.55 :)

Is the mini reissue really that rare to find? I saw two in the store last weekend, black and grey caviar. They look so cute and I keep thinking about it for two days then bought the grey one yesterday. Now I'm thinking if it really worth the money compared to CF mini, but if it's truly hard to find, then I'll consider it as a good investment. After all I really like the bag!

This really belongs in the CHANEL in action thread - but we are little sparse in photoS here so... My latest super skinny jeans from GAP, CHANEL TOP, CHANEL sandals and 224... oh yes and CHANEL leather camelia.... oh dear god! I am wearing too much CHANEL...and for all CHANEL 224 enthusiasts - this season CHANEL brought this out in black caviar too

Sorry it took so long. Here's a mod pic! I forgot to take detail pics before I boxed it up again lol. I'll take some next time I bring it out.

I love it! It's small, but it still holds enough for a dinner outing or something. I think I fit an iPhone, Chanel coin/card case, lipstick, and blotting papers. The lipstick pocket is little shallow to completely fit a Chanel rouge coco shine lipstick.
