that's exactly what my SA told me as well..
it will eventually flatten out the more you use it though..

I stuff mine lightly with acid free tissue paper, with the strap pulled through the side, tucked into the bag and laying on the tissue, and with felt panels between the front of the bag and the inner flap, between the inner flap and the top/exterior flap, and between the chain and the top of the bag. Then I store it standing up in it's dust bag...same way I storm my Classic Flaps. Even when I pack the Reissue for travel, I keep it stuffed (usually with socks, scarves, etc.). I never fold mine, although I don't think it would hurt the bag to do so since that's the way it was designed.

I like mine flat, but I ve used it almost non stop since I bought it so no time to think about the crease. When not in use I keep it in a dust bag but that is pretty rare now. I think the crease is convenient -useful if one wanted it packed fiat for travel, but I often wear mine when travelling so no need.

Hi I just bought chanel reissue from rue Cambon store 3 days ago (June 12 2017) just notice today (last day here too)my bag has 21xxxxxxxx serial numbers :( but it was made in France :). I'm confused big store like this one can't sell all of their last year model. Is this happened to anyone here?

Congrats on your new reissue! I bought mine from RC in Paris last spring and it was a lovely experience. It has a serial no. beginning with 22xxxx. However, there are two kinds of reissues....classic/iconic reissues (black quilted with either aged gold or ruthenium hw and with classic burgundy interior) and seasonal reissues (colors, patterns and hw vary by season and interior color varies and is not classic burgundy). Assuming yours is a classic/iconic reissue, there is no "last year model" since this is a style that is produced year round regardless of season and the older serial number is probably just the result of stock not being rotated. If yours is a seasonal reissue (no burgundy interior), you should consider yourself lucky to have scored one from a prior season since those are only released for one season. Enjoy your new reissue!

Thank you so much. I understand it now. The bag is no doubt beautiful and perfect and you are right my bag is a classic reissue with rhw and burgundy interior. Most of all the SA was a very professional and friendly. I'm very impress by the service I received. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge opinion. :)

I store mine with it standing up so the bottom remains flat. It didn't have the folded shape when I bought it at Chanel.

Hello everyone! I've been thinking about what bag I want after selling my mini which I thought was too small and the CC logo too flashy. I decided the reissue is the one. Went to Harrods in London to try them. Saw this beautiful metallic grey chevron with GHW. Colour is really beautiful and grey is more versatile than black, but not sure if the metallic coupled with GHW is more evening? I want to use this day and night. Here is a photo of the 225 (they had 225 and 226 - that's another decision I need to make...).

What do you think? My ideal colour is navy or khaki but that's not in this seasons collection?

I found this beautiful bag on the pre-loved market and am thinking of buying it. I missed out on it too last year so was so thrilled to see it. Just wondering how yours is holding up after a few months?

Also wondering if anyone else has any comments on how their reissue has held up over the years? I am worried they will end up looking very battered because the leather is so soft!
