 Nice to meet another Singaporean here! I am the type that will prefer reissue style as I find it more versatile than mini square or flap. Only the recent grey color in current collection attracted me to the CF. But anyway, I was unable to get any. Very sad!

Back to reissue, I spotted another tweed design in 225, this color looks more versatile. This was made in 2015 but seller now based at Indo.is this pretty?

Here to update everyone :giggle:

I did bought the mini reissue in the red tweed. I been trying to decide the blue one which is 225 or the mini red. The blue tweed pattern is more my preferred color and style, seller does not respond. My hubby feels that I should take the red version since it is recent collection and should have something brighter for my dark color / black color wardrobe. I am more cool tone person as my wardrobe consists mainly black, grey, navy or blue and some green. Hope this will match well.

Here presenting my new addition to my family of reissue. She is the 3rd reissue I have now and only first one in tweed. I used to have a light dove grey 226 but i sold that earlier this year as she too pretty and yet look delicate for me to use her. Been storing her and kept unused. I know it is my bad and my hubby keep telling me that 226 looks bigger on my frame and maybe it was in light color. So decided to let her go.

:hbeat:
She is not that bright red I am expecting earlier. In actual, she looks so much softer type of red and glad that I decided to have her.

Hi all! Question for those who have had their reissues for sometime. Have you experienced the top of the bag/flap pointing instead of curving?

I have the reissue 226 and it’s a year old, purchased from boutique. I want to avoid that point that can potentially develop over time. Has anyone experienced that? Or how do you prevent it.

I love every other feature of the bag and how it ages over time, but just not that pointy top. Lol.

Hi all,

I am trying to look for a 225 reissue from preloved market to add to my current collection.
Curent prices for reissue is insane , even more than a med. cf.

I am thinking to add a black chevron reissue.
During my search, I found below 2 option, can you let me know what you think.

Search #1
Can anyone tell me the color for this resemble to? Seller told me it was purchased in March 2018, so I am not sure if this is from cuise collection or spring/summer collection. She was telling me this color is melon and to me, I feel melon should be warm with orange tint instead of cool pink to berry tone. Am I right? Will this color hard to match if it is more like berry purple. But the price point is very good to resist and comes complete with everything.

Search #2
Found this from VS site, it is from 2019 Metier Egypt theme.
What do you think? is it too bold and strong? I actually like the eyptian theme but I dont really wear gold accessories. Usually my bags is shw, rhw and now i got myself last month a new mini reissue in so black and a tweed mini in brushed gold hw.

Many thanks for your advice :hbeat:

Hi there! 10 years ago my husband bought me a black reissue 224 w/rhw which I’ve sadly only worn a couple times (I’m a teacher and my lifestyle just didn’t allow for a Chanel bag). I’m thinking about selling it but am wondering if you have any suggestions for the best place to sell it in to a) make the process easy for all and b) not take too much of a hit on their commission.

thank you!!

The best place to sell and not take a huge hit is ebay. They take about 13%. As far as I’m aware every other platform takes closer to 20% Or more. Fashionphile is relatively hassle free but they will lowball you. You could submit a few pics and get a quote and then decide if you want to go through the hassle of selling it yourself. Given that it’s a classic style bag and in a mini size, you shouldn’t have trouble selling it on eBay yourself especially if you still have the full set. I have sold a number of Chanel bags on eBay and I haven’t lost any money and have profited in some cases. I think whatever fashionphile quotes you, you should be able to get at least $700 or $800 more maybe $1000. My estimates are based on what I e sold on eBay myself compared to what fashionphile has offered me. Good luck!

This was so helpful, thank you!! I've held onto this handbag for 10 years unused and have just this year decided to part with it as I feel bad that it's been just sitting in it's box when I could use the funds to put towards something else.

If an items sells for $5,000 plus, then I could make a commission of 85% which would be great, so I might be going that route.

Thank you!!

I have the 227. I think the point is difficult to avoid, due to the structure of the Reissue. I believe I've seen this addressed before. Maybe others can weigh in?
