Welcoming the 21A so black mini to my reissue family

Hi we are nearly bag twins.. as I also just got myself a mini reissue so black from 21A collection. Yet to use it since I bought it last Friday. Though my other piece is also black with diff hardware, each is a beauty in its own way.

Any concerns with the so black hardware chipping? I want to pull the trigger on the mini but scared of the chipping.

I also just got my mini reissue so black last friday. Already has a 225 black with ruthenium hardware. I love reissue and these are so pretty.

I so regret not getting it before the price increase. I’m sick of FOMO.

I wore my black 226 RHW almost 4 months straight this year. Reissues are ultimate most chic Chanel creations.

Hello! Does anyone have intel on a mini 2.55 in black and Ruthenium for 2021? I know Chanel had them in 2020 but I missed it!

I’m not a fan of aged gold since my 20P mini reissue got that “windshield” wear effect pretty quickly. I love the look of a so black in a mini but I missed out again.

I’m pretty sure a classic combo like that will come around soon. I’ve seen the mini with GHW around so there must be the RHW, too. Hope you’ll find one soon

Thank you and hopefully! Chanel didn’t produce minis with RHW in 2021 so far at least. By the time they do I’ll looking at a price point after a potential November price increase. I should have gotten the so black one! As your pictures are so gorgeous.

I actually found one ( black RHW ) on a pre loved market. It was from 2020 and about $700 over retail((

With these price increases I’m not looking forward to paying over 5K for a mini 2.55. It looks like it’ll easily be that next year. So, congrats, to those who snatched these beauties!

Thank you! I love my reissue collection I missed the 20A so black chevron so I did not hesitate in getting the 21A release! I’ll be content until the so black chevron is released again probably in a few years time, if I could still afford it lol! I guess we gotta weigh in the price increase vs. resell/preloved market premium. Sigh!

I never seen reissue in caviar before, is the reissue in caviar is more sturdy and heavier too?

Can help me to check attached pic, is that of caviar leather or suede? The reseller listed it as calfskin but it does not look like aged calf skin at all.I am just curious about the sweet color though I never have pink in my bag collection yet. Thanks!

Mine is the tarnished ghw. Is it normal? Coz I seem to like it but I don’t know my classic flap seems so perfect I have no idea with the reissue.

Chanel hasn't been producing caviar reissue for many seasons. Wonder what's the reason.

Here's mine in caviar. Yes it's slightly heavier than distressed calfskin typically for reissue but the caviar is thinner compared to classic flap caviar. The weight difference is not significant imo.

Earlier this year I was getting my 226 black RHW at my local boutique and they had a 225 aged calf so black. Oh. My. Goodness. I was so torn! I didn’t have a budget to get both but that stunning aged calfskin so black was the one.. that got away.

I’m just not a fan of Chanel aged GHW as Chanel uses that as an excuse to produce subpar hardware. At least my ruthenium reissues don’t lose any color. Ruthenium stays the same.

I like the look of ruthenium hardware on other people but me. So it’s really different for every bag coz mine has the rubbed off look right from the bat inside the grommets lol.

I love yours in caviar especially in black, looks very sleek and so evergreen. I been trying to see if I can find reissue in 226 in caviar, to complete my collection. But do not see many around from my location.
