Baby reissue as clutch....very versatile!Just to mention, I carried it as a clutch during part of the evening by drawing the chains into the bag, worked really well with the shortened chain hanging over my hand like bracelets. Forgot to to take more photos....artyhat:

Does anyone know the chain length on the square mini and the reissue 224? are they equal in length? I have a 224. I can wear it cross body but it hits right on my waist line. I heard the chain on the mini square is shorter then the rectangular mini. SO if anyone in the forum has all three, can you give us the comparison as far as chain length goes? thank you very much ladies.

So I just have to post how slightly irritated I am to go the the Short Hills Mall in NJ and stop at the Chanel counter in Nieman Marcus, ask to see the newly released 224/mini reissue in rose gold on the shelf and have the sales associate tell me that size is brand new to the "2.55". She handed me the bag and said oh you can wear it cross body, etc., I said I know, I've tried this bag on before, and she said no it was a mini not a 2.55 (what I call a reissue). She's wrong, I've tried the bag on before, it's been made in this size before, if you're going to have people selling $4,200 small bags at this point they should be somewhat knowledgeable... Sure they were more rare in the past but honestly, ALL 2.55/reissues were actually rare prior to all the crazy price increases, funny now I can find one in pretty much every Chanel store I walk into on the shelf now that they are nearly 5K...

Why don't you try giving her the code for the bag instead, because the term "224 reissue" is actually not used everywhere so it's not actually that surprising that not every single staff calls it by this. For eg on the Chanel website it doesn't even have those terms "reissue" or the "224" sizes. It also varies a bit by country.
