I’ve been using her everyday since last Wednesday. Walking around, out to lunch and dinners, and she has considerably softened up. “Settling in” I should say.

I’ve kept her base pointed. I thought this was very comfortable while traveling to have her more flat against my body. I’m more of a double chained girl, and this has made me feels more secure when walking around crowded places. Considering trying to flatten the base when I get home for a different feel.

What are your thoughts on keeping your 2.55’s base flat or bowed/pointed?

Your new beauty is gorgeous, enjoy! I have a 227, and I don't care to have the base bowed when I'm wearing it. I actually got a Samorga for the bag to help maintain its structure a bit. I understand it is not a Classic (I also have a small Classic) and actually like the softer structure of the Reissue, especially since mine is a bigger size. I don't think I would enjoy such a big bag with the Jumbo structure....too boxy. I feel that if you have found a comfortable way to wear it, you should go for it!

Thank you @OCMomof3! I do enjoy her when she has a bowed base, so I think I'll keep it that way. I also love the softer structure of the Reissue. I feel she's really effortless to wear. Would love to see a pic of your 227! I've only seen a 225 and 226 in person.

I love the 227. For me it’s big enough to be a practical every day bag. Also have 226 and 225 but use the 227 by far the most.

Same here. I have two 227s and a 226. As much as I try to be a “small bag person,” the 226 feels a little cramped. The 227 has plenty of room and still looks chic. My black 227 with GHW is my most used flap bag.

I just received my Reissue from a reputable seller and am not concerned with authenitcity but Just wondering if anyone elses 15 series has these screws behind the turnlock? Most I see are of the flathead. Any info would be appreciated.

I brought mine preloved, and it’s in pristine condition. The resale value on reissue is not high so definitely worth checking the preloved market as there are a lot that are in great condition!!
