It's generally only the classics that increase in price. Things can always change but that's been the trend.

The increases generally apply to classics, however if a seasonal price is repeated and Chanel sees the demand is high, the price will increase at the same rate as a classic. It rarely happens, but don't be surprised if it does.

Ahh...Just starting to save for my Chanel...hope it doesn't get too outrageous before I finally save up enough! I plan to buy the end of next year though, so I'll probably get hit by the increase...hopefully it's not too much though...
How much do they normally increase by? Anyone know? I'm interested in the M/L classic double flap.

If u can, buy it ASAP. By the end of next year you may be paying for a price of a jumbo or even a maxi....

Chanel fine jewelry is gonna increase the price dramatically in January. I just got this message from my lovely SA earlier today. Hope everyone gets what you want before the price increase. Still no word on the classic bags yet.

Well, I wasn't going to purchase one initially but after knowing the price increase, I made the decision on the spot. The price increase was about AU$500, and I wasn't going to pay the difference!

My friend and I stopped by the Chanel boutique on Rodeo this past weekend, and the SAs were saying that there is ANOTHER price increase on the horizon - before Christmas they say...

That is the first I'd heard of another increase - hope they are wrong...

If the price keeps increasing....well, eventually in a few years when Chanel is 10,000 dollars for one bag, I won't be able to afford it anymore. Hermes bags are expensive, but they are hand made. And I don't want Hermes, I want Chanel.

Ughhh. It is ridiculous. I think if they have to increase their prices, it should only be once a year.

fortunately 2012 has had only one increase so far, Jan 2012
