Try to check out both red and burgundy at the same time to compare, and if you after straight/true red then go for red if you after dark red, then go for burgundy, at least I can say this burgundy not change colour dramatically like 18b dark pink that change to pink in bright sunlight (but Look very nice in the shade).

Reminder to everyone to inspect your bags. Got this lovely new small flap in the new gray. Looked perfection until I found what appears to be a defect in the leather coloring? Not sure exactly, but it’s going back. Fingers crossed a new one is shortly behind.

Yes send it back. I've been preaching this to the choir for a few years to inspect the bags thoroughly. SA's
will say its perfect. Most don't even check them. Good luck on getting a replacement.

I don’t think there is brown undertone, Soccerfan photo is very accurate to the real life colour.
In my opinion it is Best burgundy I seen.

Yep, colour very close to the photo.

Very close to photo you have here, but to me it does have dark purplish undertone in some natural shade.
Here my photo taken now to show you.

The colour looks like a deep ruby red here. It's beautiful!

Normally, I would say get the black but the dark blue is gorgeous. I saw this in person and I thought it was a nice shade. If you don't have a black bag, I would go with the black and if you do, try blue for a change.

Thank you. I do have a mini square in black. Will most likely keep the blue since the black quilts are not as puffy as I would like
