The leather had a sheen to it especially when compared to the black. It is very dark - I will post a pic to show you.

Any one knows hows this season'a burgundy caviar? Is there a nice sheen to it? Soft shiny caviar? Im in deep contemplation as I've found a really good deal for brand new medium classic flap, 17B Burgundy lambskin gold hardware for 3650 USD.

I'm very careful with my bags and this is going to be an ocassional wear/weekend only bag. No kids.

Should i go for the great deal or this burgundy caviar at full price 5600usd for the durability?

What do you guys think! Would also love to hear from anyone who has gotten the burgundy lambskin (mini or classic) from 17B collection on the wear & tear!

Thank you for the tip! I made a similar search for petite maroquinerie on the French site and I think I found some 19B:s? Like this cardholder in burgundy. It does look like they have changed the back pocket even on the XL flap cardholder:
