chanel medallion tote hardware

question about the hardware of the medallion tote: has it always been in silver and gold? or gold hardware was first then silver was introduced later on? which one do you prefer?

I am not sure which hardware was introduced first, but I prefer the slver hardware. I have the medallion tote with silver hardware and its so versatile! I use it practically everyday!

i think the gold was first...i originally had the black with gold h/w and i sold it and now i have the pink with silver h/w
i think both are gorgeous
