Hi i've been reading that the balerinas are already onsale in the US... any idea if they will be on sale in london? and when does the private sale begin? do i need an private invitation?

Hello Uk Chanel junkies, is there such a thing as a "sale" in any of the London outlets?

One is desperate for ones first bag purchase dont you know.

All the boutiques and the concessions in the dept stores will have their Summer Sales starting towards the end of this month.

^No they shouldn't give preference to customers, the % off is usually between 30-50% depending on the style of bag, shoes or RTW. All boutiques and the concessions have sales.

I've been to the sales on the first day, there are no tug of wars or queues at the boutiques only the concessions in Harrods or Selfridges, you have to bear in mind though that Chanel handbags and shoes have a very high turnover in the UK so most of the popular styles are usually sold out before the sale season starts, they usually have a lot of canvas bags and sports ligne bags and leather bags in the older styles. Bags are usually 30% off. Shoes go between 30-40% depending on the style and RTW starts off at 40% off. Good luck, I hope you get a bargain.
