I noticed there’s a sign in Selfridges stating they now only accept up to £2000 cash in any single transaction which is new.

Hopefully that deters some of the resellers. I wonder when other brands will place limits onto how much cash can be used per transaction?

Hi all, does anybody know when the boutiques actually start receiving the new collection? My SA told me from the 16th but I wondered if they receive pieces earlier. I’m interested in the sandals. Many thanks.

this is for anti money laundry reasons, harrods are the same has been doing this procedure for all high value items. In harrods you can still pay with more than £2000 cash but you need form of id so resellers get away with it

This is Harrods yesterday. I arrived at 11 am and was waiting in the queue for about 2,5h. All SAs were so nice with us, checking if we were ok, offering water to the queue, etc. It was mandatory to stay in the queue and not to leave it even for 5 min. So we were all staying there for 2,5 h:smile: Their sms booking system didn't work properly on that day.
They had very nice selection of new bags. I saw some rare mini flaps with top handle (£3800) in yellow lambskin and white caviar leather. It's usually impossible to find them in London, even if they are on the official website. All gone by 6 pm.
I heard they will have extra stock soon.

Harrods security said that pictures are not allowed. So this is the only photo i have:
