Need some advice from those familiar with London stores. I arrived today and will here all week. I am looking for a small black Chanel 19.

Have you seen any in store lately?

Which store would be most likely to carry one?

I’m travelling to London in June and hoping to do some shopping including bags and RTW. Will Chanel NBS (or the big department stores like Harrods or Selfridges) ship overseas so I can get the UK tax back?
If not, I’ll be stopping in between at Paris as well - is it easier to get the 10% EU tax back when I take the Eurostar back to UK?
Where’s the cheapest place to pick up a CF now, London or Paris (I guess depending if you get tax back)?

I don’t think you can get tax back in London anymore - pretty sure it’s been over since Jan 2021 (but someone correct me if I’m wrong). Paris would be your best bet to get some tax back and it would work out overall cheaper for a cf, think it came to c.£6k for a medium cf in April (after price increase).

You cannot get any VAT back in the UK anymore. It’s sad times.
You get 12% back in France but after admin fees it’s about 10% gross. I hope you get a lovely holiday and happy shopping!

Browsing on ebay and came across this listing. Does anyone know why on the inside of the bag where the label is it states "ventes privee" - private sale...do they do this on some bags? I'm confused. Link below:

i was at harrods a couple of weeks ago asking for the exact same Color bag but in mini flap and small flap .. They have none in stock in that Color and asked me to come back on June 13th as they get a new stock which is basically the autumn collection :)

Hi Ladies ! Is it true that they don’t make mini flap bags in Caviar leather anymore ? I really wanted a nude shade flap bag .. and I read some where online that Chanel is stopping mini flaps in caviar leather..

Also which store in London do you think Will have more stock ? Harrods or the Bond Street Store ?
