im still debating. Everyone is telling me to get a j12 for 16000 is not worth it. or whatever. And my mom wanted me to get a rolex. or sth else. So im still looking .
J12 more of a dress watch. I guess if u are really a fan of Chanel, why not?
I hv one in 38mm and it's was my everyday watch for long time as it was scratch resistant.
But if u are looking for one with value, Rolex will be undisputable.

Had it for four five years never left my wrist. I tried to wear my cartier santos but it only happened once in those four years. I love that it is scratch resistance and with a little soap and water my watch is as new as the first day I got it.
It is my classic style and I don't really care what other ppl think. I do want to add more cartier, chopard and maybe a simple Rolex to my collection but I view Chanel as much on par with the everyday collection of these brands. It just comes down to personal preference
Watches is such a different and interesting industry. Swatch supplies 70% of the world's watched movements and you normally don't associate them with high end brands. Any reputable watch brand be legit and have amazing mechanics from a technical perspective.

what do you think if blancpain??i really like one of the blancpain and audemars piguet watch but it is a out of my budget. I have a white J12 38 and I love it. I don't look at it as trendy at all. Trendy things tend to fizz out after a couple of years, and J12s have been around for a long time.
As for older women wearing J12s......last week on American Idol's finale, Aretha Franklin was wearing her white J12 proudly!!

I have had my J12 for 7 years and still wear it everyday. I am now thinking of other watches, but I not giving up my J12.
Same for me! I recently bought a diamond bezel Roadster, that I've been wearing the past few months, but I plan on wearing my J12 come this summer.
