I think it is a very trendy piece not a classic one. You can wear it for long but it will not be a hit forever like Rolex and cartier. Anyway, I think it is the most eyes-catching watch, stunning and worth to pay for. It is my most wanted watch. However, last time I ended up buying a Cartier Pasha seatimer instead of J12. I like my cartier a lot but I still wanting a J12. For me money is a matter so I choose Cartier and still saving up for a J12. Anyway, it may be a forever dream as I have a lot of watches now.

Was wondering if this watch can be worn by elderly women too? Sorry for sounding silly but if I purchase a really expensive watch like the J12, I expect to wear it til I get old and gray. I have a rolex which remains a classic, whether you're young or old.

i think the j12 is completely appropriate for women of a certain age as well. here is a link to about the bevhills flagship redesign launch, i see a few rocking them and i think they look great

I think its a classic for sure. Especially with all the price increases on it. It keeps the desire and demand for the watch. I love mine and wear it everyday. Just lately other watch company's have started to copy the J12, and those watches are trendy.

I don't know, I think this watch will be a classic. Like from previous posts, it's been around for 7 years or so and still going strong. Trendy or classic, I'm wearing mine till I die!!!

I just got the J12 with diamond markers recently. I wanted one for a while, I know I should buy a rolex, but I never stop at the watch store, and want to see a rolex, but everytime I walk by Chanel, I always stop and look at the J12s. I think it is simple enough that it will not go out of style. the style is more of the sports watch. Yesterday, I saw an older lady in her late 50 to 60 wearing the J12 with diamond bezel, and it looks good on her.

I don't think the J12 watch is trendy, if you had to paid $4K plus for a watch it better be timeless!!!, Chanel introduced this watch in 2000 and eight years later still going strong, and btw is ageless imo, my 60 year old Chanel SA rocks her J12 and I'm 41  and def. rock my white J12:tup:

ITA. I have the oversized 38mm with diamond markers (white) and wow. It is by far the best Chanel purchase I have ever made. I have many Chanel bags and accessories, but my J12 definitely gets the most wear. I have worn it every day since I purchased it. It's so bad, I have a major watch tan because of it LOL.

Is it more trendy than a Rolex? Yes. Do I regret buying my J12 vs. a Rolex? No. Not one bit. :nogood:

Oooo this is a tricky question, wish I had a crystal ball & could see into the future. It looks trendy but is so beautiful and desirable it could be around for many years to come. I couldn't afford a J12 but got a "Celcius" white ceramic watch with diamond bezel from Links of London which I totally love. Go with your heart.
