Hihi! Thanks for your info! Yes i read inline tax refund can be done in the mall itself(which is soo much more convenient compared to other countries). Think ur SA made things even simpler for you:)

I am actually concern about the price[emoji23] saw the jap yen price on bragmybag and realised it is a few hundred dollars cheaper for the one i am eyeing. So if taxes are already included in the price, i get to save nearly 1k! If not, i will only save around $200

yea! the SA in japan is really nice and good service. she was bringing out every woc she has in the store for me to choose which is really nice because i won't get this kind of service in spore.. LOL. anws, if you are going tokyo, i will really recommend you making a trip down to ginza chanel boutique. they have this special paper bag which is exclusive to the store according to the SA.

let me check the price of my woc on the website and i'll let you know if it's included tax.

edit: hey @Shan29 i checked bragmybag and my woc is listed with tax in yen. so i guess you will save a lot more!

Hi Shan29 - to save on foreign currency exchange rate, maybe u would like to make partial or full payment in cash instead of cc. & to use whichever cc that has promo...Just my 2cents worth of sharing...

osaka is very fun! i like it better than tokyo. enjoy your trip and i'm sure you will look forward to this trip!! especially with the chanel in the pipeline! :biggrin:

Hi Shan29

Japan if you are buying from Ginza boutique is a full 8% tax refund. buying from airport will be abit more cheaper too (mine SLG was 2000 yen cheaper than the price at boutiques without tax) but no classic items, all seasonal stuffs. If you are getting SLGs, airport will be a good place to get it.

if you are buying from takashimaya, daimaru, isetan,etc tax refund is only 6.9%, 1.1% is admin fee.
