People who work at bags cleaning shop told me caviar is more difficult to repair or touch than lambskin if there's a wear and tear. For more serious wear and tear situation, sometimes caviar can never be able to repair. [emoji28]

I agree! Bad conditioned lambskin usually look better than bad conditioned caviar. [emoji16]

I totally dig the chevrons. Not so much for the quilted design. I guess my mind is made up! Hehe...

I like chevron too! My 1st Chanel is a reissue in chevron aged calfskin, couldn't bring myself to choose the quilted reissue over the chevron that time. [emoji14] Glad you made up your mind, congrats! [emoji253]

Yeah lor. Aiyo you ah.

I think for Cruise the sticker is transparent. The SA still told you the stickers removed for QC. She didn't even know it's transparent!

Yeah !!!!! Blur sotong !!!

Chiming in super late (this thread suddenly became so active!) - I remember when the SA showed me my cruise square mini in store for me to check, there were blue stickers, but when I got home they'd been removed already. Not transparent stickers ehhh. Weird!

u ladies are too funny!!! i should totally try this. sometimes i just walk in with my flip flops and cheaper brands bags. maybe that's why!! i should totally try the method u ladies are doing!

yes i agree. chanel knows people will just buy for the brand. and i must say, i totally LOVE dior's service. every single time i walk in, they give me the utmost attention and are always patient. their service is so great that i bought my diorever within 10mins. :panic:

Yeah, think only Lady Dior catches my eyes. But to really own one I don't know leh. :p

Omg I know right. Just a few weeks ago I was debating between a pair of Chanel and Dior shoes but the Dior won cuz the SAs were just so crazy nice. Haha I'm a sucker for good service!!!

On the contrary I had a really bad experience some time back with a very pushy Dior SA at the MBS boutique, and also at the Ion boutique - for the latter, she was ok initially until I mentioned I just purchased a Diorama and wasn't going to purchase another bag just yet. Harharhar..

That being said, I've had great experiences on other occasions at Dior too though. But the bad were really bad.

I once walked into Chanel in running gear with only my handphone cause I ran past MBS and wanted to check out the new cameilla SLGs, and I think they were all like wtf when I just pulled out my credit card from the hidden compartment in my phone case to buy the cardholder :lol::lol:

Wow! Did you get the FW 2016 season chevron reissue? What colour is it? I was looking at the so black reissue and the blue reissue in blue with GHW at MBS. They were TDF but way out of my budget. I like them way more than the classic flaps.

Yeah I guess it just depends on the SA! Sometimes you are lucky. I had a pushy one at Dior Ion too.

Actually my bag is from the FW2016 season and not cruise .... I didn't know it was transparent as u can't really see it with your eye .... only discovered it when I was feeling it !

Hi ladies! I finally took the plunge to buy my first classic medium flap in SHW. I realised the #23 series caviar leather on the classic flap feels very different as compared to previous years ones. As I was checking the bag, I noticed that the CC turnlock abit slanted or not in the centre. Am I being paranoid? :hrmm:

My CC turnlock for my recent square mini is also not totally straight but I am not bothered by it. If it bothers you then you should go do an exchange soon.

I don't think Chanel invests alot in customer service or quality control. Even when they raise their prices they know ppl will just keep buying their bags, shoes, fashion etc.

That's why recently I like going to Dior because they treat you like a princess. I believe they invest alot in service training. The Dior ppl are amazing.
I am scared to go into dior because the bags look so pretty when I am looking from the outside and I really don't want to buy another bag. So far the only dior bag that catches my eye is the diorama. Part of the reason why I haven't bought a dior is because of its resale value.
