So I feel a bit bad cos I keep asking my SA for the popular and hard to get classics. So far, I got a black caviar classic small and the flap coin purse with strap that a VVIP didn’t want and I was at the BTQ at the right time I guess...
so when You start travelling for work or leisure once borders re open, will you still buy from local BTQ or you will most likely buy while overseas?
I just find the local BTQ have limited stock and variety not as wide as overseas..

I did ask for a rec pearl crush too after I got the square one but since I already have the mini CF, I can live with not getting it. Considered the mini reissue too but I felt like I kinda am buying for the sake of buying and hoping one day I will grow to like it if I get it and at that point, I will be glad I saved money getting it early. Kept looking at it time and time again but just don’t feel a connection with it so I will skip it. Once borders open, I foresee myself traveling a lot and the bag purchases will stop. Can’t wait to use all these bags sitting around with no place to go because of the pandemic!

I agree! Thankfully some of the micro bags and trendy ones I really don’t like. Still prefer the more old school ones that can withstand the test of time.
oh wow that’s so cool. The prices are really increasing at a very scary rate and steeper each time that’s it’s getting out of hand. I wanted to get a burgundy CF too and almost got the rose gold chain one but the price just made me do a double take and passed in the end.
They can’t transfer stock unless it’s a week later and still not sold in that particular boutique. But for popular bags, no chance of transfer I guess cos all grabbed before it hits the floor.
Oh yes, this first came out last year during 20A and I wanted it SO BAD because it was at a very purse friendly (for Chanel at least) price of only $2,300! I mean.. that never happens! However, as expected, many people must have thought the same and it just flew off the shelves (I heard people queued early and once it opened, they were all sold to the first few customers)
NAC does have more variety on the floor but if it’s the popular styles, they never make it on floor too, be it NAC or MBS unfortunately. But it seems your SA is really nice so hopefully she can get you more of soughed after pieces!
My SA did this for me though - for my light brown Boy bag and a brooch from 21A collection. I came by on the 5th day after launch. MBS didn't have stock but NAC had 1 piece came in that morning. She was able to transfer the bag to MBS before arranging delivery to me. I had to wait 2 days though cos transferring took 1 day and the delivery was the following day.
Ok, maybe the Boy bag isn't in demand. Hahaha!
Yeah, I think certain bags are able to. My SA was able to transfer a trendy CC for me from MBS too though it was “fresh stock”. They have such a myriad of internal rules!

Initally I wasnt sure if im going to keep it after I last saw it at another boutique overseas. I recalled the leather was way too soft and the bag shape was a little weird as the side was popped out.
However when I went to pick up the bag and feel it all over again. WOW!!!! I was blown away and fell in loveThe leather felt much thicker and the shape was perfect. I told my SA about my previous encounter and she mentioned that the piece I had was probably stuffed too much that the side popped out.
Sooooo in the end… im definitely going to keep it!!!!Now i feel like having another pearl crush in a different colour.
Now i just need to order a bag insert from Samorga and im ready to use this baby!

Congrats on taking the plunge and loving it! Me too, didn’t buy into the pearl crush trend at first as I prefer the puffier and luxurious lambskin on classic mini. But after my SA managed to get me the light purple and seeing it in person, I’m in love with it!

omg same! I’m aiming this from 22p too. I have yet to own any vanity from Chanel. Seeing that this is caviar, I’m tempted..Any reviews for those who own the vanity?
My SA trsf a bag before from MBS to NAC i think but it was from the warehouse direct before they even send it to MBS store. She had to put up a request with warehouse and my payment link reflected MBS. It was a seasonal flap from last year. She texted me when the stocks came in (like 3 or 4 pieces of them) and I took like 30 mins to decide and all were taken up by customers who paid through payment link when I finally made the decision to get it. At first she said will monitor for me again, but she ended up being able to request from warehouse the stock meant for mbs that same day.
