Hahah oh my, I think I will be VIC at Koi :biggrin::biggrin: I do understand the classification and I don’t blame them for it. Personally if I don’t get a bag I requested for, I take it in my stride. I mean it’s not the end of the world, the next bag is just around the corner :biggrin:

Hahah, yes they will never tell you! We all know there has always been tiers and classifications but it’s never clear so all they do is encourage you to spend and spend. I’m guessing that’s how the “purchase with purchase” like in Hermés started and some people apparently met this in Chanel too. (Of cos, depends on luck and SA too.) I never did a purchase with purchase before even when I was very new to Chanel, I was lucky with my SA who has been very nice and try to get me what I want even if it might take a while.

I asked about SLGs too. Saw 3 mini o-cases (black caviar), some card cases (boy & classic design, caviar)... lots of black pieces... zero burgundy pieces. Didn't buy anything in the end. :hrmm:

heard that there is no such thing as minimum spending to reach VIP level or something like that. They look at the top % spenders or along that line. But not sure if its yearly or cumulative? And i do think one needs to buy regularly every season and in variety of categories including their RTW. And a great r/s with FA is definitely needed too.

It's more like matte gold hardware rather than aged gold hardware. Doesn't have that aged look. Very nice and elegant with the deep burgundy.

I went to dig up my very first receipt and it says

VIP Name : xxx

So looks like everyone is a "VIP" by default? I only got 1 boy bag that day.

Mine is stated as VIP Name from the first time i purchased from the local boutique, which is after the pandemic happen. So I guess it’s default with VIP stated but not really like VIP VIP.

My old receipts (2008 to 2016) I got from overseas just write 'Customer:' but local ones (from 2017) shows 'VIP Name:' :smile: congrats we are all VIP hehe!

Hello ladies, do you have any recommendation for Chanel bag insert ? I have check on Samorga but I find it abit pricey.. the shipping itself would cost me 30 USD. I have also check on zoomini almost around the same price as Samorga. :(

Have you tried registering first? I think zoomoni gives 10-15% discount for first time buyers. That's what I did the first time I bought from them, it helps a little or maybe you can ask your friends to order with you to split the shipping :biggrin:
