I just had experience with the chanel in Milan and the chevron mini. I am in the US. The first SA was a bad experience but I called back and got a wonderful SA named Marco. I recommend calling the day before you go to Milan and ask him to hold your bag of they have it. Call again the day of to confirm it is till on hold. That's what I had to do and he was wonderful (original SA not so much). HTH!!
Try your luck, I wanted a bag in the window and the SA told me it was already sold. She also offered to contact me if the item I went there for came in on their weekly shipment (which means to me, she might hold it). There are a few chanel shops in milan, IDK about the other oneS.

Hi everyone was just in Rome, Florence and Venice and went to all the chanel stores with Florence being the smallest (there are 2 boutiques in Rome within walking distance of each other), was looking for a rectangular mini but there are no caviar rectangular minis (only Python or snake available in rectangular mini) this season only square in lamb which I wasnt interested in (the SA brought out a navy blue lambskin square mini with silver hardware in the Venice store which was lovely but too small for me). I was pleasantly surprised all the SAs were lovely and the stores were not crowded (I didn't go first thing in the morning but rather afternoon). I wasn't even dressed nicely.
I ended up buying a classic flap long wallet in black caviar and gold hardware in Rome (for gold hardware only black available).
I also got a seasonal red (slightly pink) flap that looks like the classic rectangular mini from the Venice store yesterday. price was 2650 and SA said was slightly bigger than mini and chain is longer, chain can be doubled and has 4 grommets. The SA in Venice was very lovely and spent a lot of time bringing out different bags that were similar to the mini I wanted. There were also wocs she brought out to show me but no classic caviar styles, all boy style and lamb, saw a beautiful electric blue one).
I was pleasantly surprised all the SAs were really nice and patient. Enjoy! FYI Italy tax free refund is 14%.

Thanks for the great detail review! Did they have a lot of square mini in Rome and what were the colors if you remember? Would love pics of your seasonal red if you do a reveal!
Hi guys, I've been to the Rome boutique in the past two days and I'm impressed with how much they have in store, compared to London. Saw many ballet flats in varying colors, seasonal colors - aged blue lamb and beige (calf I think?) in quilted. I didn't get a chance to look at bags but saw that they had a lot when I had a peek at the cupboard. (Sorry in advance if I'm unable to tell u what they have n didn't have). Walked away with shoes and pink caviar long wallet! (last season)
I wanted to say, out of the three people I dealt with in the store, I felt like only one of them was truly patient and really great with her customer service. I felt like the rest of them actually made it a pretty lousy experience for me, and it's the same faces that I've seen twice in the past few months. They made me feel bad trying shoes n even said there weren't certain designs even though I knew there were. Pretty disappointing.
However, for many bad eggs there's one good egg, she helped me pick my first ballet flats! That excellent SA's name is Silvia P. and I hope to recommend her to anyone who needs a contact in Rome!

Hi, would you happen to have the code of the seasonal red flap that you purchased?
I was trying to search for the next price increase in Italy and stumbled upon this thread. I was just at the Chanel boutique in Rome today (the main one right infront of the spanish steps). They had a lot of stock of Square Minis but ALL in lambskin. If anyone is intrested, there was black, navy, blue (not royal blue, close to teal blue), purple-ish and a red (pink undertone). The price is 2,250 Euros (with VAT I live in Rome so I don't get tax free). I ended up getting the red (true red) large o-case in lambskin SHW. I originally was looking at the blue roi and was about to pay when my SA got back from her lunch break and told me that she still have the red o case on hold for me for 3 weeks already. Turns out she couldn't contact me coz she had one wrong digit from my phone number. I've asked her about the price increase this year since they already had one in the UK, but she said she don't have the information as of today. However, she confirmed to me that the sales will be starting either 5th or 6th of July. Obvs, there's not gonna be any bags on sale, but shoes and RTWs and maybe some sunglasses will go on sale. SA's in Rome are actually very very nice, but I mostly work with Maria Petrocchi, she just amazing, she even remembers the colors of the items that I purchased from them, like she would reference them for comparing the colors.
