I don't know about inventory in London right now. Cruise is slowly trickling in (according my SA at Harrods shoe dept), and I assume the same is true of handbags. I'd call New Bond St (big boutique) and Harrods (they have a boutique on the main floor, but also keep some handbags in their chanel shoe dept and chanel accessories dept.

Hi so I was there today, the sa was actually pretty rude, but maybe because it was a Saturday and the store was full of people so yeah...
But she said they do have the jumbo but can't guarantee anything, but she couldn't or wouldn't tell me about the gold one.. She just said that in the next two weeks they will get the new collections in and that they don't know what they will get.. Maybe call ahead to the store when you arrive in Europe so you know what they have, but I think you will have more luck in either London or Paris..

Thank you very much! Once i was at chanel munich and they were very rude too! I think they are much too spoilet because from all the arabians there and are very arrogant! Too sad you made the same experienced! You pay a lot !!! of money for their things and treating you friendly is the least they should do!
When I rang Bond Street a couple of days ago the lady couldn't answer what they had coming in but said they start to receive the bulk of things on 21st so to ring back then.
I'm sorry your experience wasn't that great at the boutique in Munich... I'm a regular customer there and never had an bad experience there, even at the beginning when I wasn't known at the boutique... they were always friendly....
Haha yes I think so too, a lot of Asians and Arabs are constantly in the stores in Maximilianstraße so they're definitely spoiled😄 and you are right, for the amount of money I'm spending I want good customer service..

Unfortunately no... Chanel boutiques in general don't ship internationally, even within the EU...
EmilyRosie- Chanel boutiques CAN ship but its up to the SA and most dont. Especially if they dont have a long term relationship with you. I find the Sloane St London, Bond St London and Paris boutiques most likely to ship. And of course Saks usa SAs.
Munich is hit or miss. There have been times where they have claimed not to have what I want (colorwise) and then they open the cupboard/drawer to get me what I settled on, only to reveal a bag or accessory in the color I wanted. Then they do the whole 'oops here is one' routine when they see I noticed which majorly p*:&es me off!!
Other times they are amazing and will reserve items or call me when things come in. Ive never managed to have a consistent relationship with a SA there.

That is so rude. I know for a fact they have new collection items alredy but have not put them out. Ugh, i hate snobby SAs. Makes my blood boil!! I hope they are nicer to you next time!
Dont call ahead to munich they are unhelpful on the phone. But do call Harrods, Sloane St london.. if you can provide the exactly color code they will be more likely to even hold the bag for a day for you!
Thanks so much for the reply! I'm going to Bond Street a week today and last week mail ordered some espadrilles from Bromptron Road in London. I just wondered for future reference in case Bond Street don't have the things I am hoping to find next weekend. I've seen on previous posts it depends what SA you get when you ring Paris. Hopefully London will be in good luck or I will be brushing up on my French haha.
Really? I didn't know that... I was always told boutiques don't ship internationally, you need an address in the country the boutique is...
