Chanel GST Stiches

Hello lovely ladies,

My mom bought GST series 13 in beige from the Chanel store a while ago and decided to give it to me. When I looked into the details, i found the line only have 9 stitches and I've been reading about authentic Chanel should have 10 stitches per inch. Can someone please shed a light on this?

I wouldn’t rely on number of stitches. I would get it properly authenticed instead for peace of mind.

If it was bought from a boutique and your mum has the receipt that should help.

I agree. If your mom bought it from the boutique it should be fine.

Post a photo. I know the gst changed in design at some point so you could have the older version. You can tell by the circle rivet where the handle attaches to. If it says rue cambon 13, it's the newer model. If it's a thin metal ring, then it's the older model.
