Chanel flap bag with pearls & chains - worth the price tag?

This bag caught my eye (big time!)... The detail is so beautiful with pearl & chains detail. It's over £6k retail.

Do you think it's worth it?
An investment piece or a loss?

I love that one! Played with it at the boutique. But I wouldn’t pay that much honestly. I’d be afraid the chain would scratch the pearls very fast..

That looks very heavy! Also the bottom of the bag sees the most wear, I would be so devastated if the chains and pearls got tarnished, especially for the price.

The hardware is tarnished gold so it shouldn't scratch so badly - It's a tough one as I love these rare peices, but the wear & tear does worry me.

Not everyone would like this style though. It’s not a classic, so will probably look outdated a few years down the road.
I would say, if you like it and have the money to spend, buy for yourself but not for the purpose of investing.

This is a lovely piece with not many in circulation. I think only 3 available in Australia (?) It was surprisingly not heavy to wear. A whopping AUD$11k!!!
