Hi everyone! I need some advice here, I recently got the iridescent medium classic flap in aged calfskin, the colour is beautiful! However I am now debating if I should exchange it due to the nature of the leather. As it is aged, it will get crease with usage in the future, I can already see creases where it bends on the spine when opened and am just now sure if it will last a long time (at this price point I expect it to). Now I’m pondering if I should exchange it for a caviar one instead, am fine with the classic black and gold hardware as I don’t have that one yet.

For those of you who have this season’s aged calfskin bags, can you please share about the wear and tear please? Do the creases bother you? Do you think it’ll hold up well in the long run? Should I make the exchange? Hope to hear your views, thanks all!

Black caviar will definitely hold up better in the long run compared to this season’s calfskin. This season’s calfskin will show more wrinkles with use over time. It might not be that bad or obvious, however it sounds like you should exchange it because you are pretty unsure already. If minor creases or wrinkles bother you, you should exchange it.

Has anyone heard if the goatskin will be offered again for the 19??

I remember seeing somewhere in this forum that there is one particular colour that is coming in goatskin. Don’t think it’s 22c, you might want to check through 22p/22s threads.

Thanks for your advice, yeah that was what I was thinking, it already bothers me now and the creases will become more obvious in future.

If it bothers you now, it will absolutely bother you later. Sounds to me a black caviar with ghw, something you can use frequently and holds up beautifully, is more of what you are desiring. I love this seasons calfskin, but you need to go with your instinct. Loving the color only takes you so far… you need to love the bag in its entirety.

This is soooo cute!! I guess if you have a chunky key fob then it can go on the ring part at the bottom and hang out since it doesn’t seem thick enough to close. (I’m really just thinking/typing out loud lol.) How many cards do you think can fit with keys?

I think probably 2. I have only tried my main credit card and the driver license. Not sure if it’ll fit with all 4 keys and more cards

Going to the store on Saturday to check out this small flap wallet. I love the color but worried about the pale blue and how it will be over time. Any feedback? (This wallet or any pale SLG in caviar?) I wanted lambskin but really like this color and think it might not be a bad thing to have caviar SLG for wear…thoughts? Thank you! ☺️
