Truly stunning duo!!!! So glad the CF is not wrinkly and weird looking leather!!! It's very special and stunning!!! Happy to see how amazing it looks since some of those pics of other items in this leather were awful IMO. Also believe Chanel has succeeded in pricing people out of the CF market or stopping resellers because I have received 3 texts offering me this bag from diff boutiques. Guess the CF are no longer flying off the shelves?!

I think because with the CF's store prices now, resellers can no longer mark up that much or if they do then prices would be even crazier, then buyers might as well get them from the boutique? That's what I would think if I am the buyer. More bags for us direct buyers! haha.

The wallet seems to have more “coating“ on it so it feels stiffer whereas the CF feels softer. It’s hard to explain lol. The wallet almost feels like patent leather but not as plasticky lol. The CF almost reminds me of lambskin and feels similar to the gold lamb from 21P, but is silkier and smoother due to the finish. That’s the best way I can describe it lol.

I do feel like it’s somewhat of a high maintenance piece, but I already figured that going into the purchase so I’m okay with that. I definitely do think it will scratch way easier than my 21S iri pink medium for instance, but not really worried about it because the scratches aren’t that noticeable. There’s already a very small scratch on the front towards the bottom but it honestly blends in with the texture/iridescence of the leather so you can’t really tell unless if you’re looking lol. I only noticed because I was looking over the bag to make sure there wasn’t anything majorly wrong like any tears or popped stitches… but thankfully all was good!

The front zipped pouch fits my LV key pouch & Airpods easily; no cumbersome maneuvering needed. The main compartment is really spacious; for reference I've put in my full sized Bearn wallet - and there is so much space left inside! With my wallet inside, there was still 1.5-2 inches of space all around.

For size reference, I got the 'smaller' version of the bag; I haven't seen the larger one in person. But I do feel this size is perfect. It's the same width as the Small Classic flap; but fits more than a Medium Flap. Probably because it's a single flap & the calfskin has a bit more give.

In terms of strap drop; IMO it's the perfect drop. Right in between where a doubled up Medium & Jumbo would sit (where your arm can comfortably rest... although I really wouldn't recommend that).

So my pros are: 1. has an 'almost' classic look. 2. Separate compartment for keys. 3. Spacious. 4. Has the classic back pocket! 5. Durable calfskin but feels like a puffy, luxurious, lambskin. 6. Holds more than a Medium Flap while being way cheaper.


I was debating the colour options too! I kept going back on forth on this red vs the black. I guess you can't go wrong with the black. But settled on the red as I found it quite unique; it's a little bit of a chameleon - in warm lighting it looks like a rich purple

Super interesting bag! Would you be willing to share one more shot of it from the front but slightly further back than you were with the first photo you shared in the prev post? I’m trying to get a better sense of what it looks like with the flap over the front pocket.

Finally got organized to share this - my wonderful SA came through once again and was able to get me the one 21K I was wanting!!!

I can’t gush enough about this bag. The burgundy is, to me, absolute perfection and I’m still having a hard time understanding why it wasn’t the biggest bag of the season lol. Lucky for me though. Only 29 ordered for the U.S. or something like that.

It is glossy, glowy, vibrant, and the perfect match to the inside burgundy lining of some of my classic pieces. I may be reaching Chanel purse peace with this addition.

According to the lists that were posted in the earlier pages of this thread, the extra mini coco handle was produced for 21K in this color. That said, I don’t know if anywhere in the U.S. bought into it. My boutique bought into very little of the burgundy overall, and this one my SA had to transfer over from Chicago.
