Chanel Fall/Winter Act II 2021 (21K)

Thank you! And yes - below are some pics of what can fit. I was struggling to find some pics when deciding on the bag too!
The front zipped pouch fits my LV key pouch & Airpods easily; no cumbersome maneuvering needed. The main compartment is really spacious; for reference I've put in my full sized Bearn wallet - and there is so much space left inside! With my wallet inside, there was still 1.5-2 inches of space all around.

For size reference, I got the 'smaller' version of the bag; I haven't seen the larger one in person. But I do feel this size is perfect. It's the same width as the Small Classic flap; but fits more than a Medium Flap. Probably because it's a single flap & the calfskin has a bit more give.

In terms of strap drop; IMO it's the perfect drop. Right in between where a doubled up Medium & Jumbo would sit (where your arm can comfortably rest... although I really wouldn't recommend that).

So my pros are: 1. has an 'almost' classic look. 2. Separate compartment for keys. 3. Spacious. 4. Has the classic back pocket! 5. Durable calfskin but feels like a puffy, luxurious, lambskin. 6. Holds more than a Medium Flap while being way cheaper.


I was debating the colour options too! I kept going back on forth on this red vs the black. I guess you can't go wrong with the black. But settled on the red as I found it quite unique; it's a little bit of a chameleon - in warm lighting it looks like a rich purple

I loved how soft it looked and could potentially have a somewhat casual vibe while still having the classic look to it. I can’t get myself to buy the small or medium classic flaps because I know I wouldn’t carry them as much - they feel like I need to dress up for it. But this feels like a nice in between.
I didn’t realize there were two sizes. Do you imagine it’ll be harder for me to get access to this now? I’ve been eyeing this bag in black.
Also I saw the burgundy shade in person too and there’s definitely a deep purple tone to it as you mentioned! Thought that was unique as well!

I think they're trickling in now (depending on country I guess). My SA did mention it isn't a very popular style and not many know of it... So perhaps relatively easier to get?

Hey lovely ladies!

I really wanted the White caviar classic flap with silver hw from this collection, however it seems to be sold out in the entire Europe. My SA managed to get one from Hamborg, but there’s a huge flaw on the bottom of it I’ve not seen the bag in person since I’m on vacation, but this is really my dream bag, so I’m sad that it has to come in this condition. I was also excited to purchase the white flap with silver hardware. However, when I unboxed it, I found what appeared to be a crack on the corner of the front pocket. The stitching throughout also seemed stretched.

Beautiful and practical bag. I am looking for a vacation bag can do from day to night, cf is too expensive to bring, cch’s handle is annoying when pack, mini is too small. How is this chain length? Can it be double chained like cf?

something finally came in the mail yesterday

I have to say….I own the shiny goatskin in black version of this bag and it’s soooo different than the lambskin brown. My black goatskin was so shiny it was slippery…like it was coated with something. But this one has more of a matte finish …and feels more plush. Love them both but I feel that my black goatskin might be more durable

Depending what country you’re in you hopefully can get it! I’m on a list in US for it and hoping for the larger size eventho I do really love the smaller one now too! Maybe one in each color . One sa said there may be a navy one too but she didn’t confirm it back to me yet. I had my name on for it originally in the small but then the store wasn’t getting it in. It wasn’t bought by a lot of stores which is potentially the only issue with hunting it down. The review is perfect it does have a bit more casual vibe with the still classic feel it also looks much more lightweight than a jumbo so I’m excited now.

Thanks for the amazing review! It’s sounds like the perfect bag! I’ve somehow gotten put in Chanel jail for the month but would love a black one! Does the black have shw? What’s the style called?

Nope; you can't double up the chain. I don't have measuring tape with me right now... but the drop is in between the drop of a Medium & a Jumbo.
And... I could get some flack for this - but I've tried attaching a shoulder strap to the rings (where the original strap is attached) and I was able to use it cross body!

I think it's only available in light gold hardware. I saw an earlier post calling this the 'Pocket Chic'? But I'm not 100% sure it's referring to this one. Sorry if that wasn't very helpful...

My iri pink CF just arrived!!! It’s GORGEOUS!!! The color is really beautiful on this size, but it’s definitely different from the mini (judging by photos as I’ve never seen the mini IRL) and also the SLG I have. I feel like you really have to experience this color in person because it’s so hard to describe. In certain lighting, it looks like a sparkly baby pink… and other lightings it has rose gold undertones. It’s definitely NOT orange or as beige as it looks in photos. Anyway, here are some pics comparing the medium to the wallet. They are definitely different but somehow the same in certain lightings. Sorry, not the best lighting lol.

Congrats! Gorgeous bag! Interesting about the diff finishes. Now I understand why the receipt for my 21B dark grey lambskin 19 says "shiny lambskin" since it's definitely shiny and not matte at all. I previously thought all lambskin 19s were similar in finishes. My 19 has been great so far in terms of durability.

Congratulations hun. She’s sooo gorgeous and so unique. I’m not the matchy matchy type of person so I do love the subtle differences. How does the leather feel on this one. Does it feel soft like the wallet or tougher?
