Wow that caviar mini looks so underwhelming. I had high hopes. Overall shape and the hardware looks a bit cartoonish and not elegant for Chanel. I am sure this is an unpopular opinion though and it will still be a very popular bag due to it being caviar. Although caviar is not the most sturdiest. My 10 yr old Caviar vintage bag developed a crease on the bottom despite good and careful storage. And even Leather surgeon said they cannot fix it

Yea I think the lighting really makes a difference when comparing irl photos. But even then I still think the stock photo looks much prettier for this bag :/ Maybe I’m just weird though XD *pictures are not mine.*

Agreed. The hardware killed it for me and the caviar leather looks too soft.

The sides of the adjustable mini are not folded like the classic minis, what does this mean for the structure of the bag... Long term?

May I ask from which year your caviar vintage bag is?

12 series but I also put it in my carry on. I was very careful and stuffed it well but it still developed a crease. It’s on the bottom of the bag.

Here’s a comparison of the 21P Caramel and Hermès Gold (earrings). They’re very complimentary and my 21P 19 looks a little lighter, but almost the same hue, just a lighter shade of Hermès Gold. Hopefully this is helpful, although only time will tell if the 21K caramel is the same as 21P.

Anyone else notice the new policy of being committed to reserved items? One of the SAs I talked to had mentioned that you’re committed to buying the item once it’s reserved due to a lot of clients cancelling their reservations. I’m assuming it just means they will be less willing to help you if you don’t purchase? Like I get why they are trying to enforce that, however, I’m not going to buy an $8,000 handbag if I’m feeling lukewarm about it lol.
