So...I wore mine for the first time today and just noticed this:

A thread came loose. I got them from Neiman Marcus and I know I can return them, but, they were the last pair in my size supposedly. Anyone know if I can take them to Chanel to be repaired? Or would I have to ask Neimans to do the repairs?

Mine happened as well but already fixed. Came back like new. You can take them to shoe dept at Neiman and show them the shoe. They will send the shoe to local shoe repair without charge. My SA does NOT recommend snipping because it can be worse. Hope this helps!!!

Thanks so much! I will head over tomorrow and see what they can do. I was so shocked when I saw it because the stitching was coming apart. I agree, snipping would do nothing but make the unraveling quicker.

Lol I should have been more specific.. My stitching didn't unravel... It was a piece that was glued to the bottom rubber that was sticking out which is why I snipped mine.. My bad...

But on this topic... Anyone else feel that this season's espadrilles are poorly constructed? I had to exchange my first pair because the sole wasn't properly glued together.. To the point where I could pull and separate the double sole... And now I thread came loose on my second pair.. And this is the third pair I've heard of whose stitching has popped out or come loose... Interesting....

No idea. This is my first pair but I do think it is unreasonable for them to fall apart after 4 hours of wear. I do wonder if espadrilles are just not that sturdy in general but I was hoping to wear these through the summer, lol.

I bought both colours because I just could not decide on which I wanted more. I would have regretted it if I left the store with one colour and not the other
