Hello ladies, I am in a dilemma here...
I usually wear 7.5-8US/AU shoes and my feet are approx 24.5cm long..
I went to my local Chanel in Melbourne Australia and was told that I would be a size 39 for espadrilles. At that time they only had a size 40 left in the canvas and other smaller sizes like 35. I tried on the size 39 and had about one index finger and a bit of gap...

Anyway, I also asked two different SAs from SAKS what size I should purchase the espadrilles in with the measurements I have and they both said 38.

My dilemma here is, I don't know which size to choose because the SA here saw my feet but not the shoes and the SA in the US have the shoes and don't know what my feet look like/how they are shaped.

So..what size do you ladies suggest I should buy? I am looking to purchase a pair with double sole and in leather.
Also, if I buy both 38 and 39 at SAKS and have them shipped over to Australia, can i have the size that doesnt fit me sent back and refunded? Or do they only do exchanges?

I just got a pair of the orange suede espadrilles off of Sydney CBD boutique today. Just informing you that it is available and I got my hands on my size which is a 37 (a very very common size). you should get it quick if you're interested. oh, and they're AU$770

I don't live in the UK but what I did was to keep checking and ask in person whether they have any in stock or not. Also ask when are the deliveries usually made, as one SA in the Sydney Au boutique said that they get surprise deliveries every week and it could be the espadrilles.

I think in March when the new collection is launched in boutiques I will just ring everyday and pop in as soon as they say they have arrived. I have the crackled pair coming from NM in the US but I already want another pair. They are a lot cheaper here in the UK - its just a case of finding them

i just phoned bond st today and they said the new collections will arrive middle of march ... i was in bond st last two weeks and one of the SA that attended me said it should be sometime on 10th march

I think that's a good idea. Oh I haven't even seen it in person, I bet it's beautiful! I popped into one of the boutiques today not expecting anything and they surprisingly had espadrilles in stock in Orange suede from the dubai cruise collection. I wanted the lambskin leather but I couldn't pass up the Orange suede.

Thank you - I will keep on at them in March and speak to them everyday until they have them. Determined to get my hands on a pair at a good price - they are already an extra £100 in the US plus customs/taxes grrrr

I hope they are beautiful - I thought I was lucky to get them in my size. I ordered them TTS as everyone was saying the crackled ones ran bigger than others. I'll post a pic when they arrive. I would have got the orange suede as well - anything to get my hands on a pair and they will look great in the sun in AUS

I bought the canvas 15 C in 37 and they fit perfect!!! I got the red leather ones today 15 S in 37 and length is good but tight on the top so reading your post, I think I should get them in 38 now:)

I'm a 7-7.5 and the 38 is a perfect fit

i would love to see the pics!! i got mine TTS as well but im pretty sure they will all eventually stretch out. hahaha yes the orange is beautiful and we're currently in summer heading into autumn soon. i hope ill get as much use out of it before the weather turns gloomy and rainy :laugh:
