I love the look of the double sole a lot more. I've worn it once and it seems comfortable enough. However I've only worn it a short period of time with little walking involved. There's not that much bend in the double sole as there are in the single one but even the single one isn't as comfortable on long periods of walking.

So ill comment on the double sole comfort once I've worn it a bit more.

Yes please! I actually find the single sole quite uncomfy and am going to try little padded inserts to see if that improves comfort. They feel too flat and they also pinch a little bit in the baby toe area, which I'm sure will stretch. I just got the laceup espadrilles, which are double sole, so I am very curious about how they compare in terms of comfort. I am getting my lace ups today will also comment on comfort!

what size did you get? I got the 37 because the SA said they'd stretch heaps.... but I am having major difficulties getting them on!

Got my high tops last week. I wear size 40 in Chanel (8.5-9 US sizing), and the SA suggested a 40, so this is what I got, but they feel a tiny bit tight. I also wish they were making espadrilles in half sizes!

The high tops are $625 - I just purchased the black leather ones from NM.. should be getting them on Tues. I'll post photos when I can.

NM was the only ones who had them in black..Saks had the pink, beige, and dark blue/black high tops. Nordstroms had beige (didn't ask them if they had other colors available to order though).

Ah no wonder my SA at Saks didn't have the black available. I was sort of interested in those. Oh well, I love the light pink.

I ordered both single and double sole pairs since I sometimes like the look of single more. Hopefully I will love all the pairs!!

I really love these! They are sz 39, which is my true size, and they fit perfectly, on the snug side. I find them much more comfortable than the single sole. The pink is very very light, almost looks white in this photo.
