I tried the canvas and the all leather (both in double sole) in a 37 and the canvas wasn't tight, but it also didn't fit as SLIGHTLY loose at the leather ones did. And I am a size 6.5! When I walked in the canvas, my foot didn't slip out as much as my foot does in the leather ones.
i found them a few weeks ago at my local chanel boutique after calling many department stores around the country. the chanel boutique was the only place that got the navy/black leather combo in, the department stores had no idea what i was talking about. maybe if you have a friend who would let you purchase them under their name and pay them back? good luck.
Went to see if there was any espadrilles in today there was the full black canvas but none in my size I'm actually surprised how thin the sole is and floppy the leather on the sides are . Went to see the CL ones to compare and although I like the appearance of the chanel think the quality of the other ones are better.
The double sole canvas runs TTS. I have 2 pairs and bought my true size, 37, for both. They fit perfectly.

This question is directed towards those that have both single and double sole pairs of espadrilles, or have a strong preference for one over the other.
Which one do you like better? Are there certain times you prefer the single sole over double sole (and vice versa)?
It seems as though the double sole would last longer and adds some height, making your feet look slimmer.

I was looking for all black leather too and still looking
I ordered the suede gray one's. But now I'm wondering if I should have done a 37
ANYONE out there that got them that are a size 7?
What size did you get?
I'm in the same situation as you - just ordered a 38 in grey suede when I'm a true 37. I took a 38 last year in the leather single soles, and the fact that I tried on the canvas double soles in 37 but really really struggled - they were so tight - makes me hope the 38 suedes will be okay ... 😔
Since you've had some for a year, can you please comment on how your single sole leather has held up? Anyone else that's had them a long time comment as well please?
They've held up really well! I wore them all last summer and fall they also got drenched in the rain (I mean torrential flooding .:cry
once or twice but dried perfectly after. A little wrinkly on one of the insteps afterward, but otherwise pretty good 
Probably, as with any other shoe, you are not supposed to wear them EVERY day.
. Rotate, let them breathe...lol!
