Is it true that they will not make single sole's anymore?

I'm just speculating, as I have no idea what's behind decisions at Chanel, but I think they may have gone to the double sole (as espadrilles being made on the bottom of basically rubber like material and jute rope on the sides) to have them appear to last longer, as typical espadrilles wear out in one season of wearing. So maybe they thought that with a double sole, the bottom part would last longer. Not sure about the jute part; they really can't do much to make that last longer.

Hey guys,
I am still searching for these bad boys, I am after the canvas pair, single sole or double sole, doesn't phase me.
Color also doesn't really phase me, the pair I have tried on were white and black and they were great.
I am looking for SA's in the US at any stores who have them in stock.
Here in Australia the Chanel stores are pretty useless and get a shipment once a century.

Any help/SA info would be much appreciated!

Saks in Bala Cynwyd PA has leather single soles, canvas double soles (graffiti, navy, white) and the high tops. I understand that sizes are limited but it's worth a call.

Agree. That is what I did with my graffiti. They are a tad loose, but with the heat of the summer, I think it will work fine.

Also this is my first non info-asking posting! I am gonna stop just reading and start sharing on purseforum. Thanks for letting me share!

These are leather double sole dark navy/black espadrilles in size 38. I wear US 7.5. I think they come pretty tts especially if you have somewhat chubby/wide feet like me.
I couldn't get my feet into 37s for sure.

Chanel SA at 57th st. in NYC had one more black/black leather double sole in 38, canvas double sole denim blue and black in 37, and many other choices in canvas and leather in size 40&41. double soles. not sure about single soles though.

I bought these last week and I have to say the single sole is more comfy but I can see why they could expect the double would last alot longer than the singles.
