It is odd because he did say he have a 37 too. It's okay though because a very nice tpf member gave me her sa number :)

I'm so glad you found them. I was told that 37 (and 37.5) is the most common size now; it used to be 36.5 (my old shoe size before they changed the lasts). So if he had a customer for it, if you were there ready to pay, he still should have sold them to you. I'm just happy you will have them. The leather ones look so pretty. Maybe I'll find a pair for myself one of these days (I'll admit I've not tried hard; tried on the single sole and they were too loose or too tight, and this time they only had the too loose and not the tighter right size in the store and I didn't ask her to hunt for them, as I just got other shoes).

I would ask that anyone who wants these to please, please don't pay exorbitant ebay fees, as they are available usually somewhere and many of us will try to help you find shoes/bags, etc. and hate to see you pay unreasonable prices. I can understand someone selling who wants to make some profit, but the huge amounts that some are charging is just robbery. If you can't find them one season, Chanel knows when they have a good seller and will bring them back. The now permanent clutch started out seasonal. I'd guess these shoes will become a permanent or at least available every season in some fashion for a few years at least.

Thanks for the last words of wisdom. What's your advice for the half moon woc? I can't find one at a Saks or NM anywhere, not even Nordstroms! *le sigh*

Post that you are looking for it on the Chanel shopping board under the "desperately seeking" thread. Put what colors or leather you are looking for and any store preference. It sounds like any store, so put that. If someone sees your post and knows where one is, they will respond, even if it takes a bit. Also follow the "Chanel finds" on the same shopping board as people will post there what they find when they go out and about. Some use photos, and others like me who forget to do that will post words. Also, if you are willing to do pre-owned, check Yoogi's closet several times a day as they will frequently have things, but the wanted ones go quickly. If you see it, buy it (usually their things are authentic, but I'd still pay the $5-7 to have it authenticated and they do have a return policy--this is the only exception I'd say with the "authenticate it first" rule). Remember there is also Bloomingdale's, Bergdorf Goodman, and Hirshleifers as well as Jeffrey's and another store I can't think of at the moment. But do post it on that board and check the finds daily or since lots of new stock is arriving, several times a day.

Thanks tutushopper! I posted in the desperately seeking thread a few weeks back but I didn't include a picture. Im going to go do so now.

I'm working on my patience level which is something I don't have  I was hoping to do NM or Saks to get a discount on first card purchase and points so I'm hesitant to search elsewhere. I guess, all things worth having are worth waiting for. I know I've become a pain in the A to my SAs because I'm constantly checking in with them. I'm on about 5 wait lists. Lol!

Just try to have patience; I know it's hard (I'm a very impatiently patient person). I don't even try to get coveted bags where I can get gift cards or no tax, etc. I just get them where I know I can get them. I have only 2 bags that I got without paying tax, and none that I got gift cards for. It's just too hard to try to get all of those things to line up if it's something hard to find.

I see this now...I'm coming over from LV where everything was plentiful. I don't have the make-up for this wait list stuff. Lol!! Gawd forbid if I crossed over to hermes....I would have two fits and die in the first. Lmbo!

That is what I like about Chanel or Hermes (I'm still waiting for Hydra Blu Evelyne) the thrill of the hunt.
