Is it shiny or matte hardware?

Also, do these collections tend to go to Chanel boutiques only or also to the ones in stores like Saks? I have a Saks SA, but I'm curious if I need to make my way into a stand-alone Chanel boutique and start a relationship with an SA.

Seasonal collections go to all stores. However, the boutiques may get certain bags (and/or colors) that the department stores don't buy...and vice-versa. For that reason, it's also helpful to keep an eye on this thread:
