I find this so interesting as I am 5’ but the small suits my frame much better. I was opposed to giving it a try at first so I looked at the medium countless times but never bought it. Finally looked at the small and knew it was the one for me. I am not using it as an everyday bag, more of a going out or occasional bag.

It comes down to preference!

I believe its best that we should check out the bags in person and decide which size look best on them. Cus everyone is different , for me i love the size M look on me but maybe others like the S:)

struggled with this decision. being petite i wanted to wear crossbody and the medium just didn’t look right on me worn that way. the small is perfect for crossbody. but of course i want another one and i’m going back and forth AGAIN with small vs medium.

Had a hard time deciding between the small and medium but ultimately due to my petite height, ended up with the small. It’s actually so cute and adorable. Perfect for day and night. Love it!
Also, I figured if I needed more space, I can use my jumbo, old medium boy or 225 reissue instead. :)

I am 5'1" or 2"'ish, depending on the day. I've had multiple m/l bags but never really liked the way they looked on me, especially cross-body. I much prefer the small size and think it has better versatility than the m/l. The mini works great as a casual cross-body, but the small looks good both shoulder and cross-body imo.

This thread is interesting as it starts in 2007 and you can really see how fashion changes opinions. Back then it was all about larger bags and lots of people agreeing that the mini is too small a bag - how times have changed!
I have both the medium CF and the small CF and I get more use out if the small for sure. I’m 5’4” and a petite frame. I feel sometimes the medium is wearing me. Whereas for the small, it feels more at one with me and my outfit and blends in more. The capacity has never bothered me because I don’t wish to put a lot in these lambskin bags anyway.

I recently purchased the small and decided to exchange it for the medium. The reason I bought the small was mainly that I already have a medium in shw, purchased in 2018, but I wanted a classic flap with gold hw. So I thought to get the small for a change. Also because I thought I could wear the small crossbody and I thought I’d wear it more as it’s a more versatile size. And I have barely worn my medium with silver hw.

However I ended up feeling like it wasn’t the true classic and I missed that feeling. To me the medium is “the” classic. I also personally couldn’t wear the small crossbody comfortably and it just got lost when worn under my arm. The medium you can see more on my frame when worn under my arm. It probably is too big/conspicuous for me for like a walk in my local park or weekend local cafe trip but for that I have a mini, the small would probably be too much for those things as well anyway.

So far I have worn the medium in gold hw a lot, much more than the silver. I think I just prefer the gold hw. I don’t find it too flashy I think because I mainly wear it under my arm and also gold has become more popular I think compared to when I bought the silver one in 2018. The silver is also quite bright and actually I think brighter than the gold. Also the leather of the newer bag is less puffy and shiny so I think it isn’t as obvious.

The small just didn’t feel like it was “it” for me. As I say I think mainly because it was lost under my arm, whereas with the mini whilst also a small bag you can wear it crossbody which is a major bonus to me.
